"Meine Frau und ich haben nur eine Nacht dort verbracht. Das Portree Hotel liegt ganz im Zentrum von Portree. Das Hotel ist schön und Zauber, die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und hilfreich. Das Bett war viel zu klein für uns beide, und man konnte das Fenster nicht öffnen. Das Restaurant im Erdgeschoss ist sehr gut, man kann in ca. 20m Entfernung parken."

"Das Zimmer war unglaublich feucht, hatte Schimmel, im Bad blättert die Farbe ab und das Zimmer/Hotel hat einfach allgemein einen schmuddeligen Eindruck hinterlassen. Das ganze Haus riecht komisch. Im gang zum Restaurant nach nassem Hund, im gang nach ganz Oben nach Brockenstube."

"Alan and Megan are the perfect hosts. The hut is tidy and clean, perfectly located in Portree and for different field trips. Perfect communication, check-in and check-out, even a charger for your car is at the house! 100% reccommended!"

"We had several options and chose this hotel because the website advertised regional cuisine and a focus on sustainability. Sadly the kitchen was "unfortunately closed today" - every day! The hotel looks great on the website, but in reality it is a hostel with mostly untrained staff right next to a private junkyard. You can tell in every minute that there is no manager on site (at least we didn't see one and that's exactly how it was). There was no room service and there was a lot of mold in the bathroom. The breakfast could have been good, but despite the staff having a notebook, they couldn't get a single order right. It was a truly absurd stay with at most hostel quality. The weakest hotel on our road trip so far. Definitely not recommended!"

"Wunderschönes Hotel mit historischen Zimmern. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön und sauber. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Die Aussicht auf das Meer und den Hafen wunderschön. Gute Parkplätze. Essen war hervorragend. Alles war perfekt. Kann ich sehr empfehlen."

"The house and garden have seen better days. Positiv where the 4 bathrooms. Dining room much to small for a groupe larger than 4. Bathroom/shower very small. More than one in it is impossible. Some windows impossible to close. Door into the garden: handle is almost falling off. Pans old and disgustingPans"
