Apartment was not clean - marks on bedding, cobwebs in the lampshades, carpet disgusting, kitchen floor and the wall to the side of the bathroom had not been cleaned in a long time! „A last minute refusal by another property to honour our booking meant we had to quickly find an alternative. With hindsight, this was actually a good thing when we found this apartment. Marlborough was simply excellent. Lovely apartment, great view over the river, spotlessly clean, great location (convenient & quiet), easy reserved parking and lovely staff. „Beautifully decorated comfortable chic home and the sofa bed is full size double & comfy. Only downside is it’s not that practical if you plan to cook all your meals in the flat. No cupboard space for groceries, kitchen pots etc are in the bedroom, couldn’t find a frying pan. Was easier to eat out or get takeaways. Bathroom is of high standard but tight on space with no where to put a wash bag or makeup bag or even a toothbrush. Also I would suggest owner puts a proper door on the side room ...

„We had a lovely time in the cottage. It was only a few days because we were on a tour, but we didn't miss anything. It is nicely furnished and everything you need was there. The garden is completely fenced in, so it's absolutely great for dogs. The pretty garden is across the street where you can sit when the weather is good.“

„Beautiful property within walking distance of restaurants, takeouts, stores and pubs. All in all a great stay since being there for 5 nights we had a kitchen/fridge/dining table and living room - especially since most breakfast restaurants are not open until 9am. Had some questions about the hot water and the owner was responsive and helpful. Only complaint was too many stairs for us with luggage since I am diabetic and had a broken shoulder. Wasn't a problem without our luggage.“
