„TL;DR: Modern with a homely feel! Where to start!? This property is a stunning break from character to PEC. Dotted throughout PEC are restored, classic, rustic houses - then there's this house. Modern, warm, inviting, but still feels incredibly homely and perfectly suited to the area. Set on a lovely piece of grounds, this modern haven is as nicely textured by modern materials as it is by gallery-worthy art, and detail at every turn. As far as being well equipped, that's an understatement. ...

„Very pleasant place and not far from regional attractions. Peaceful and relaxing retreat. Note: one of the bedrooms was not private. Walk along path at back of property was nice bonus. Host was very lovely to deal with.“

„Super cute place. It was so nice to have both indoor and outdoor space. The back patio was lovely for a morning tea and a pre-dinner cocktail. The sun room is great for a quick cat nap! Picton is definitely the best of all 3 towns in PEC. It has the biggest Main Street and the most shops and restaurants that were open late. Harbour Main is a very short walk to Main Street and really close to the start of the Millennium Trail too. Rent some bikes and hit this trail. It is flat and easy and goes ...

„This property had everything we needed except a proper sized « pull out » sofa. My brother and Dad joined us for one night and my 6 ft tall brother had to sleep in a sleeping bag on the floor. Otherwise, the bunk and queen size beds were comfy. Omissions included a dishwasher soap, a dish towel and a couple of hand towels! It was difficult to dry dishes with a J cloth!“

„My daughters and children (my grandkids) decided to get together for a couple of nights for some fun in PEC. This wonderful place offers everything advertised and so much more … everyone loved every minute together in this fun, fantastic location! My only negative is the late check-in time (4pm) & the very early check-out time (10am) … because we only had a 2 night stay, the 6 hour window between check-in & check-out felt like our holiday had been cut short. So in a way, that’s a positive too, ...

„Wonderful time at the Old Milford House. Great location and minutes to every where you want to go in the County. House was full of character and perfect in every way, including a refreshing pool in the June heat wave. Didnt use the pizza oven but looked cool and there were instructions and fire wood if needed. Monica was a great host and was quick to reply with the few minor questions we had. Would love to come back !!“

„Our stay was great from the moment we walked in the door. The rooms were cosy and comfortable and the cottage was spotless. It was very well stocked from linens to plates/glasses/cutlery to coffee, tea, hot chocolate and spices. There was even all the fixings for homemade dressing as well as 2 bottles of local wine. The view was a stunning gift each morning, watching the sun rise over the water. I look forward to returning again!“
