This was exactly what I was looking for, a chance to reset and recharge myself, time for spinning, knitting, reading, walking, eating and sleeping (9 hours of much needed restorative sleep) Actually time had no meaning for 2 full days and it was wonderful.
The hut held the heat of the day so was warm enough at night (winter may not be so kind though), the bed comfy and the small solar light just sufficient, my head torch made evening reading possible.
Andrea and Paul were very welcoming and wonderful no-fuss hosts.
My comments for improvement are that the “kitchen” needs some work, such as rainproof shelter, bigger bench or shelf under the bench to put food etc on, iced slicker-pads for the chilly bin (which was very useful), more water for washing dishes and a backup gas bottle for when the gas runs out.
The gas heated bath is a treat, it would be nice to have it filled with fresh water each day.
On the whole though I loved my stay and most definitely would love to go back
Thanks, Louise
