„Nice spacious house in a quiet neighborhood. Big and beautiful garden. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Fresh linen.Overall cleanliness was not good. Front entrance and decks were full of leaves at arrival. Kitchen floor and stove knobs sticky. Kitchen cabinet and fridge filled with a lot of food. All already expired. Used underwear in bedroom cabinet. BBQ dirty with no .cleaning equipment available.Very strange that there are no garbage bins outside. All garbage must be brought to the ...

„Unique property in off the beaten track town. Just what we were wanting and looking for. Maxine and Mike are wonderful hosts adding to the memorable experience. Minimal amenities in immediate town but all available in a town 15 minutes away.“

„Generally a pretty positive experience. Nice place, hosts were excellent, both communication and helpfulness. We liked the location being the quieter end of Tapoe and a bit out more rural, but not all would. Probably the only negative is the accommodation is near the road so you hear (and feel) the cars and especially trucks passing even at night. The hosts try their best to limit the local traffic noise but its there. We were okay with it, but i imagine some people would find it difficult.“

„Really enjoyed our stay at the Acacia Bay Cottage. Was really easy to access and was a sufficient distance from Taupō town to be really quiet and subdued, but still only about ten minutes away from everything. No views at all, but the site is absolutely delightful. Great bach, would certainly recommend. Thank you!“

„Sounds like a wonderful place, staff was helpful. BUT the stay was a disaster. Room had a funny smell, fan to vent was running but did not help, but we accepted it. "Die Zimmer waren von der Einrichtung sehr alt und abgenutzt. Durch die hohen Decken wirkt der Raum aber trotzdem ganz nett. Der Innenhof lädt zum Sitzen und Abendessen ein und ist gut belebt ohne laut zu sein. Es gab eine doppelte Herdplatte, eine Spüle, eine Mikrowelle und einen Kühlschrank sowie eine Grundausstattung an Geschirr und Salz/Pfeffer und Spüli, auch hier aber alles etwas älter (trotzdem funktional). Die Waschmaschine und der Trockner waren sehr in die Jahre gekommen, haben aber funktioniert. Alles in allem durch die Nähe zum Tongariro Nationalpark und mit Supermarkt direkt nebenan eine Unterkunft in der man sich gut aufhalten kann, wenn man nicht zu viel erwartet. "
