What a lovely apartment. Ideal for two, but with an sofa bed should you want to squeeze in an extra person. It has everything you require for a great holiday. Being July and very hot, we were welcome for the air-conditioned rooms. Everything works and with UK style plugs, there's no need for adaptors. A small balcony serves as idea outside space, once the sun has moved away from about 2pm. For sun worshipers, the poolside basks in sunshine for most of the day and the pool serves as refreshing restbite, should you need to cool down a bit. It may be a just a little too quiet for some, but we loved the peace and tranquility. If you need the hustle and bustle, the beach bars and restaurants are only being 5 minutes in the car (recommended) from the apartment. We would recommend Lambros Fish & Chip restaurant at Cessac beach, Dekalia for lovely food with a very typical Cyprus feel to it. Don't be put off by the name, it's one of those places that the locals choose to eat. Oh, and the fish and chips are the best we've had.
The new, modern apartment sits in a small development in the expanding area of Pyla, with a picturesque village of same name, which will cater for your day to day requirements. Ayia Napa, about 30 minutes drive, has clubs and bars aplenty and a brilliant waterpark. Limosol is further afield at 50 minutes and Nicosia the same. Don't miss a trip to the Troodos mountains if you find the heat too much at the coast, it about 10° cooler and the scenery is stunning, as is the Brandy Sour's from any of the bars, perched below mount Olympus.
A great holiday destination and The Pyla apartment, a great place to spend it. When we come back next, we'll be trying to book it again.
