„This house is amazing! We have been renting properties long before vrbo was in operation and this property is in the top 3. Is it perfect, no. But, it's darn close. Chris is wonderful to deal with. He has made his house a home away from home. Televisions are an issue but streaming worked in the living room and in the boat house (with a TV we brought). „My husband and I enjoyed a very relaxing stay at this charming cottage. The views of the ocean are spectacular from both inside the home and out on the deck, truly breathtaking. We were even lucky to view the Northern Lights on one evening. The home feels spacious yet cozy, and the kitchen is well equipped. In addition to panoramic ocean views, the deck is a great place to view birds and other wildlife; we saw loons, osprey, bald eagles and a harbor seal to name a few. There are nearby walking ...

„I had an excellent visit. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and small appliances. Everything was super clean; magazines and books were available (as well as good WiFi). I never turned the tv on as the view was spectacular. I wasn’t able to have an outdoor fire due to weather but everything was great. I hope to return. „I was traveling with my 4 sisters. We enjoyed our stay very much. Hosts were very helpful with technical things and recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The cove on the ocean is great for sunrises and peaceful mornings. Beds were comfortable, Great place to wind down after a busy day!“

„This was the first trip to Maine for most of this group, and it’s safe to say we’re all in love. Being on the water was wonderful, and we enjoyed the amazing views as well as the hikes and adventures on the rocks during low tide. The pictures of the house don’t do the woodwork justice, and the grill made mealtimes easy. My only flag - the upstairs bathroom only had a tub and no shower, and with a number of girls in the group with long hair, it required some scheduling of shower time. We ...

„The house is lovely, great location and situation. The shore just below the house is rocky and charming, but requires caution descending to it (in the winter anyway). Sunrise over the south end of Monroe Island is just gorgeous. Views from every room. The kitchen is great, and the most generously supplied with cookware and dishes that I've ever seen in a rental. Super.“

„This cozy home had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving getaway. It's beautifully updated, warm, comfortable, and centrally located to what we wanted to do. It's located in a quiet, riverfront area for a peaceful stay. Only the turkeys, squirrels, and an occasional lobster boat to get your attention. Just perfect. I highly recommend this property.“

„Everything was beyond expectations. The neighborhood was quiet. The stars were visible and a nice deck to enjoy the experience. Big back yard for the dogs to explore. The kitchen was large and well stocked. One of the best features was large windows throughout the house so you could take in stunning sunsets.We went to the Damariscotta Pumpkin Festival and it was a short drive away.The house is very classy and it has alot of interesting facts about its history.We would come back. „The property accommodated our family of 11 just as we’d hoped. The open floor plan was perfect for all to be together but space enough to do separate activities. The littles loved the play room! Close to many activities and restaurants. A beautiful view of the lake. Nathan was very responsive and accommodating. We had a wonderful stay; highly recommend this property.“

„It was a peaceful comfortable home with a fabulous location. We were 2 couples so we had lots of choices as to bedrooms. The kitchen on the 2nd floor was lovely and very functional as was the dining area and living room overlooking a grand view of the ocean, islands and waterfront working world. It doesn't get much better anywhere on the coast of Maine.“

"Sehr freundliches Personal am Empfang. Tolles Frühstück und die Lage ist super, da man zu Fuss alles erreichen kann. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Zentrum. Leider etwas laut im Zimmer. Unsere Türe war unten minimum 5 cm zu kurz, sodass das Licht und die Geräusche vom Gang leicht durchdrangen. Insgesamt aber sehr gut."

"Super freundlicher Empfang, Und schneller Checkin Bei den beiden Damen An der Rezeption, freundlicherweise bekamen wir sogar noch zwei Gutscheine für die Eisdiele nebenan und durften am Abend am Lagerfeuer vom Hotel die Marshmellows grillen und uns Kaffee und Tee machen sehr familiäres, sauberes und angenehmes Familienhotel in einer top Lage alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Gute Restaurants und Shopping Möglichkeiten absolut zu empfehlen für Familien und alle anderen Urlauber. "

"Freundlicher Empfang. Keine Hilfe bei Gepäck aufs Zimmer bringen. Zimmer modern und sehr sauber. Kein Tresor/Save. Zimmer mit Meerblick = Lärm und Vibrationen von der Strasse. Frühstück inklusive aber sehr sehr bescheiden. Gäste, welche über Hotels.com buchen werden bestraft. Buchungen über hoteleigene Webseite profitieren von einer afternoon-Aufmerksamkeit ( Kuchen etc.). Keine hoteleigene Parkplätze. Feueralarm während unserer Anwesenheit ohne vorherige Information - Probealarm durch Techniker. Alles in Alkem schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!"
