„My girlfriend and me were very suprised about the good conditions in the Motel. Although it's located right next to the Highway, it was not very loud. Everything was fine, except the wifi was a little slow and the "continental breakfast" was just prebaked Muffins, wrapped in plastic and coffee/cereals. „My sister and I took a summer road trip to the Adirondack mountains and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Jay. We visited Lake George, Lake Placid, and Lake Placid. We walked the AuSable Chasm and other waterfalls. We even explored Vermont. It was great to come “home” each night to our place in Jay. We enjoyed the back deck each morning (where we watched deer pass by) and cozy home each night. The hosts were incredibly responsive amd available. A fabulous time!!!“

„Hosts were on site in this duplex. Super nice people, and they care a lot about keeping the property looking like new (2024 renovation). They set up a fire in the nice fire pit behind the house, which we used at night. The back yard was a huge slope of freshly mowed grass dotted with sitting areas and leading to a small dock on the north branch of the Ausable river. „Idyllic property, right on a gorgeous stretch of the Ausable River. Clean and comfy cabin with all that you need. We truly relaxed, spent a lot of time enjoying the river and the views. Great proximity to all that makes this area of the Adirondacks so special - Wilmington, Whiteface, Lake Placid, Jay, Keene -- all nearby. Lots of great hikes in the area. Our host Scot was super-responsive. We'd go back, for sure!“

„I really liked staying at this place. It is very close to Whiteface Mountain. The house sits on a nice piece of property back from the road. The road is visible, but it is a very quiet area. The home was very clean and very nice for two people to be very comfortable while staying there. I will stay there again as my wife, and I really enjoyed our time there. The only thing we missed was not having a couple of recliner chairs to sit on.“

„We had a wonderful time in the Barn cabin, it was very comfortable and clean, it was well stocked and everything we ere looking for for a couple quick nights way. Check in & finding it was very easy with the instructions provided even though we arrived after dark. Would definitely recommend! “

„Overall good stay. My husband loved the sauna! My only complaint was that there was only 1 AC and it was in the living room, so the bedrooms were very warm even with the doors open and fans on. It was very quiet and clean, everything else we needed. It was approximately 25 mins to a wedding venue on lake Champlain. “

„Cozy, clean and comfortable with accommodating host. The location alongside the river was very pretty. It worked out well for me as I ate in 95% of my meals. The few dinners out were following long hiking days and on my way back to the house. Except for a pizza place there isn’t any restaurants close by and that might be a bit inconvenient unless you plan your outings accordingly.“
