Golfer’s Getaway Cabin on Historic Golf Course

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The Golfer’s Getaway is a serene cabin home located on the 9th hole of the Willapa Harbor Golf Course. The golf course is undergoing a restoration but is expected to be open in the summer of 2022, the driving range is open now.
The course is one of the oldest courses in the state. The home is only 5 minutes from the coastal city of Raymond where you can go back in time as you enjoy the NW Carriage and Seaport Museums. Free WiFi
Welcome to the Tranquil Tides! Here is a copy of the lease agreement that you agreed to when making your reservation.

This Short Term Rental Agreement (the “Agreement”) is made by and between Heather Hamilton, member/manager for Pacific Coast Vacation Rentals (“Homeowner”) and ______________________ (“Guest”) as of the date last set forth on the signature page of this Agreement. For good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is acknowledged, the parties hereby agree as follows:

1. Property: The property is located at:
1015 Robert Bush Drive, South Bend, WA 98577
The property is furnished and includes several appliances, linens and towels.

2. Rental Party: The rental party shall consist of the following persons:

3. Maximum Occupancy: The maximum number of guests is limited to 2 persons day or night. No weddings, graduations, receptions, reunions or similar event unless prearranged, additional fees will apply.

4. Term of the Lease: The lease begins at 4:00 p.m. on (the “Check-in Date”), with the exception of Sunday, and ends at 11:00 a.m. on (the “Checkout Date”).

5. Minimum Stay: This property requires a 2-night minimum stay. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than 2 days, the guest will be charged the 2-night rate.

6. Rental Rules: Guest agrees to abide by the Rental Rules attached as Exhibit A at all times while at the property and shall cause all members of the rental party and anyone else Guest permits on the property to abide by the following rules at all times while at the property. Only people included on reservation should be on the property unless prior consent is given.

7. Access: Guest shall allow Homeowner access to the property for purposes of repair and inspection. Homeowner shall exercise this right of access in a reasonable manner.

8. Rental Rate and Fees: Payment in full shall be due when making the reservation unless other arrangements were made. If the premises appear dirty or damaged upon check-in, Guest shall inform the Pacific Coast Vacation Rentals immediately.

9. Cancellation Policy: If Guest wishes to cancel his/her reservation, the deposit will be refunded as follows: Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 14 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%, no refund within 7 days of check-in.

10. Insurance: We encourage all renters to purchase traveler insurance.

Rental Rules


1. Smoking, vaping or illegal substances are NOT allowed.

2. No more than 2 people and only those included in the reservation may be on the property. Guest takes full responsibility of ensuring that all members of his/her party follow the Rental Rules.

3. The property is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The property owners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

4. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order and only use appliances for their intended uses.

5. PETS are permitted only with prior approval and payment of pet fee, $25 per dog, per stay. Cats are not permitted. Dogs are permitted but are required to be current with vaccinations, are not allowed on furniture and need to be cleaned up after.

6. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily housekeeping service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units.

7. Water and Septic: The property is on city water and city sewer. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to $300.

8. Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. Please be respectful of the neighbors.

9. Garbage: Please make sure all garbage is picked-up and in garbage bags. Garbage bags can be placed outside of studio unit. Please notify owner when there is garbage that needs to be picked up.

10. Storms: If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless:
• The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area".

11. For security, there is an exterior camera and hallway camera.

Lovely cabin on historic golf course - with amazing people
Our trip started out with our car not starting we went to leave. A neighbor jumped it and we thought it was fine - the battery would recharge during the drive. When we got to the rental and parked, the car died again. I was able to flag down someone who worked for the golf course who said Heather's son had a battery pack. He let us use it to jump the car and after about 30 min, we were able to get it started with the help of the first employee and two guests - a father and son. They were so very patient and helpful and made sure I was able to get the car going so that I could get to Costco and buy a jump starter of our own. Heather's son also kindly agreed to let me hold onto his (he made sure I had the charging cable as well) till we checked out in case I was unable to secure another one so that we could get home. The place was lovely and Heather was great at communicating before the trip up to check-in - I didn't respond/communicate during as I was too stressed. We just hunkered down and worried about getting home really. Aside from the car stress, it was a lovely stay in a beautiful setting - I wish I had taken a picture of the fog in the morning as it was gorgeous. We are so thankful for the employees and guests that helped us! We are also very lucky we chose this setting as being on the golf course allowed us access to the clubhouse folks who were able to help us out vs. staying at a random home that was secluded - I hate to think of how that might have turned out!

Raymond is soooo charming!
We loved our stay at this darling cabin in Raymond on the golf course. It had everything we needed. The space heaters in each room were amazing because coming from Hawaii, we were cold LOL. We loved the hot tub and the fire pit - and the smore's kit was just an adorable touch. We had our family members over for dinner one night as they live in Raymond and we are looking at property nearby. It was just an ideal setting all the way around. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Great Place to Stay
This home is lovely and in an amazing location. We were there for only one night, but wished we could have stayed longer, and would definitely come back. The house is clean, roomy, with wonderful views. The house is on a golf course and there are lots of places to walk around. We had a great time, and were very happy to have found this place. Heather was very responsive, provided great information about the area, and check-in was a breeze. Heather, thanks so much for having such a lovely place and being a great host.

Quiet little getaway
Excellent location for a quiet away to the countryside. Property was located in a great spot, plenty of space with a lot of peace and beautiful scenery. The house was as described. Lovely views and wildlife abound!
Had a nice 2 night stay here over the 4th of July holiday. Beds are crazy comfortable and lots of nice space to hang either in or outside. We enjoyed the fire pit, seeing a huge herd of elk in the evening, s'mores left on the counter to use and nice quiet mornings with coffee and reading. Great communication from Heather with all our questions answered. Very short drive in to town if you forget any necessities. Would stay here again and bring more family/kids next time! Wonderful Area
This location was great. Right next to a golf course so there were big fields. Never saw anyone golfing, but we utilized the area for flying kites as it was windy during our stay. The home is very open and perfect for 4-6 people. It’s location is great, less than 10 minutes from a grocery store and about 45 minutes from Westport area. If you want a nice quiet location to relax for a weekend I’d highly recommend this spot. Also if you enjoy oysters there’s a town about 20 minutes away called south bend that has several restaurants that offer locally farmed oysters.
