Lake Effect Lodge - Your Tug Hill Getaway

This Tug Hill home was custom designed and built to meet the needs of people away on vacation in the Tug Hill region. Beautiful spaces, large windows allowing for natural light, top of the line appliances, and almost all amenities included make this the perfect for those looking for a 'at home' living experience while away on vacation. We accommodate snowmobilers, cross country skiers, family vacationers, fisherman, outdoorsman, or anybody looking to stay in the area.

Our property is a 3 bedrooms, 1 bath house with a log cabin feel. The house was built in 2012 so we have modern features to make your stay pleasurable for everyone. Below are some of the features included:

-Approximately 1100 sqft of living space
-Full bathroom with in-floor radiant heat, all towels provided.
-Large full kitchen with stainless appliances; all utensils provided
-Coffee maker, toaster, pots & pans, paper towels, silverware, plates, bowls, cups

-3 Large Bedrooms (Beds include: 1- Queen, 1-Full, 2-Singles, 1-Bunk bed) - Clean linens guaranteed

-DVD Player
-Built in speaker/audio system equipped with Airplay
-Large Driveway to accommodate all size trailers and multiple vehicles
-Large covered porch with gas grill
-Wood stove and propane heater

The property is located within 3/4 of a mile from the snowmobile trails (see map in pictures). Our road is often snow covered and if even if not the snowbanks are accessible to ride on most of the way to the trail.

The entire living area is accessible to all guests.

If you have any questions or issues during your stay we will be sure to respond almost immediately. We are available by text, email or phone. We also live a short distance away if we need to stop by to help.

We want you to know that, as always, we here at the Lake Effect Lodge are committed to making your stay as comfortable and worry free as possible. Because of this time of uncertainty, we have taken extra precautions to increase our cleaning and sanitizing processes.
• We sanitize high-touch surfaces
• We clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists
• We use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and wear
protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination
• We provide extra cleaning supplies for guest use such as, multi-surface cleaner and
disinfectant spray
• We comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines
-No smoking
-No pets allowed without permission. Additional pet fees may apply.
-No events, parties or large gatherings

We provide an initial starter set of toiletries that includes shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for each bathroom, dishwasher pods, toilet tissue, trash bags, laundry detergent and dryer sheets.

Prior to your departure, please tidy up the house by doing the following:
-Remove all perishable items
-Take out the trash
-Load and start the dishwasher
-Strip linens from the bed
-Place all used linens and towels in a pile.
-Turn off all lights, electronics and appliances
-Close and lock all windows and doors
-Additional fees will be imposed if the house is found in an unsatisfactory condition, so please return it to the condition in which you found it.
