It was setup with fun and interesting items we had not had a chance to use before. Very exciting experience for our little getaway. We also loved the hot tub , barbecue and full kitchen so we could just bring what we needed and stay on the property the whole mini vacay. “

We stayed for two nights for a quick getaway for my husbands birthday and visited Silver Lake Sand Dunes (approx 40 mins away) and used the rowboat to enjoy Big Star Lake and do some fishing. Beautiful view, as advertised and even better in person! Looking forward to a return trip :)“

„The Eagles Nest at the Blue Heron Resort on Diamond Lake is not for everyone but we loved it. I say not for everybody in part because you need to take a series of stairs including nearly 30 steps to reach the cabin from the parking space provided. While we (both in our 70's) didn't have a problem, others may well prefer few stairs. The cabin is also not fancy or modern and has a few quirks including a noticeable slant towards the lake. "I felt very comfortable during my stay. The host was extremely friendly and the room was clean and cozy. Overall, the place was well equipped, and the surrounding area is beautiful – perfect for relaxing. Just a small note: I missed having a charging outlet right next to the bed to easily charge my phone overnight. Other than that, everything was great – I’d definitely stay here again!"
