„Tucked away behind a pub on the village green ( we didnt hear any pub related noises while we were there). Fantastic little stable conversion, just big enough for 2 people and a dog. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there. The bedroom had no wardrobes, but there was plenty of room for 2 full size suitcases on the floor next to the bed. There is yard to the front and rear of the property with chairs- both catch the sun at some point in the day. Less than a 1 minute walk into the ...

„We had a lovely stay at The Old Barn, it’s well equipped, quiet and dog friendly. The parking worked well, we have a 4x4 and a tow bar mounted bike rack. We also appreciated having a secure shed for our bikes. The neighbours are friendly and made us feel welcome, we are planning to return to the cottage to explore the area further. My only comment is about recycling as we couldn’t find a recycling bin. But we did locate and use the local recycling facility, which is at The Reeth Dales Centre.“

The check in process was stressful as I didn’t appear to have the code to the lock box and although I emailed to ask twice, I only received the automated response. Fortunately, a local neighbour was able to give it to us after seeing proof of booking.“
