Adorned with natural wood finishes, gives it a true cabin vibe - but with all the amenities of a modern home with unique trim. Enjoy the cabin or a short car ride to Old Forge & other nearby spots year round!

The Black Bear Cabin is quick to greet you with its Adirondack woodland charm. Despite its unique and aggressive black exterior with customized aesthetic, this cozy cottage doubles as a boisterous cabin with extravagant dining and living room areas that offer tons of natural light and an all-natural wood finish.

The neat and tidy patio, with comfortable furniture and surrounding woodsy scenery, is a serene setting for your morning coffee. Once inside, you’ll find it hard to leave the living room – which blends rural and natural with cozy & comfortable. The side patio, equipped with a propane grill and dining picnic table, makes for an excellent setting for an outdoor meal.

The cozy couch, lavish dining area, and convenient amenities are the perfect niceties for your secluded woodland getaway…but the 50-inch Smart TV is there if you need it (:

The kitchen is decked out with essential appliances (fridge/freezer, stove, oven, coffee machine) and has all the basics covered – and then some.

Perhaps, after dinner, you may want to settle down for some s’mores and a warm fire next to the custom Adirondack ball firepit. The outdoor entertainment area is adorned with deck lights and strung lighting, and makes for the perfect setting to share some laughs with the family, or an intimate moment with a partner.

At the end of the night, you’ll settle into the master bedroom, which features a large queen bed (and comfy mattress), as well as large window panels that allow oodles of natural light to shine through. A desk/study area is also set in front of the window and offers a peaceful place to work or read.

The second bedroom includes a full size bed and extensive closet space for storage. An extra air mattress is also tucked away in the closet space if needed!

Enjoy the spacious backyard area. If you do choose to stray from the property, you’re directly next to Kayuta Lake.

The unit is air conditioned and has heat control settings in each room. It accommodates parking for 3 cars and comes with free WiFi.

There are pots and pans, dishes, glasses and utensils, paper towels, and a garbage bag or two in the kitchen.

Towels, linens, soap, shampoo, and conditioner along with rolls of toilet paper are provided. Please bring any other necessary personal items with you.

We do offer a laundry service with a nearby laundromat!
