Gather with friends or family to enjoy the fun and refreshing gin clear waters of Fence Lake! Relish great boating and fishing on this full REC lake, explore connected lakes on the ten lake chain, do some eagle watching, bike or ATV on one of the nearby trails, play tennis or shoot hoops on the private court, or just sit and relax (indoors or out) to enjoy the beautiful view. Memories are made here!

Cap off your day with your favorite beverage as you lounge to watch the spectacular sunset! When you're tuckered out from all the fun and fresh lake air, retreat to this rustic, cozy, and newly remodeled north woods cottage. There are 2 comfy bedrooms, (1 Queen, 1 Twin/Full Bunk bed),and a spacious bathroom with shower, which make this the perfect cottage for a family or for two couples to share.

Enjoy cooking out on the full patio with table, gas grill, and fire pit. There's also a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and everything you need to prepare and serve meals. Minocqua, Woodruff and Lac du Flambeau are all within 15 minutes drive if you prefer to dine out or carry in. Try one of Wisconsin's famous supper clubs in the area.

Guests will enjoy a private (shared with one other cottage) dock. Bring your own boat, or enjoy the use of our paddle boat and kayaks.

Guests will find this the perfect retreat - removed from any small town by just a short drive from favorite areas for dining, shopping and plenty of other activities and attractions including Lake of the Torches Casino and Fred Sheer's Lumberjack Show. This cottage also includes Smart TV with high-speed Wi-Fi. Pets considered. Parking and garage space available. Free on site laundry facilities available during warmer months.

The weather didn’t cooperate so we didn’t have luck fishing. The cabin was nice and clean. The dock and lake were nice as well. Overall nice property. Neil the owner was easy to communicate with.

Peaceful Getaway by the Lake
We spent a wonderful week here in June. There is a lovely view of the lake from the front windows. Chairs are provided to sit outside in the shade and look at the water. We used the fire pit almost every night. The cabin is nicely furnished and a great place to hang out and read and watch streaming shows. The beds are very comfortable. There is a great collection of board games. Neil and Lynne were gracious hosts and very responsive to questions. Highly recommend!

Cute, comfortable cabin on a beautiful lake
The cabin is cute, welcoming, comfortable, and clean. The lake is beautiful and clear! We very much enjoyed our stay and appreciated the kayaks and paddle boat available there. We also took advantage of the tennis court while we were there. We found everything as described and a few extras in books, travel magazines, maps, and games to use while we were there. We appreciated the cabin and the host and would highly recommend it! It was hard to leave!

Wonderful Getaway!
We stayed with our dogs and enjoyed a relaxing time with many options to choose from. We fished nearby lakes, hiked on trail right across highway, enjoyed the kayaks and fantastic sunsets! Great Stay
Neil is a great owner and host, went out of his way to contact us ahead of time and make sure everything was in order. Place is cozy, but exactly what a family of four needs for a quick getaway up north in the winter for some skiing. Kept us nice and warm in windy, below zero weather. One of the best stocked kitchens I have seen at a rental property. Would return for sure.

XC Ski Trip ABR and WinterPark
When we (3 people) stayed there, everything was covered in snow but the property is right on a lake. The cabin is a smaller cabin. There are two bedrooms as shown online. I'm over 6 feet tall and the bed that I slept in (not the bunk bed room) slept fine. My friends are under 6 feet tall and they slept in the bunk bed room and they slept fine. It's go a nice medium sized kitchen. All the rooms have a space heater. I would say the cabin has a max of 4-5 people as I think there is sofa sleeper. . Any more than that is too crowded. The bathroom and kitchen appliances worked fine. The bathroom is shared between two bathrooms. There are two entrances to the cabin. We used the rear entrance which gets you to the bedroom/bathroom. The front entrance goes into the living area. TV is setup with enough channels and stream services if that's your thing at night. Overall we had a nice experience. I could rent this place again for a smaller group of people. The owner did call me to make sure I found my way. If you rent at Wintertime and find yourself having to plow, there is a snow blower in the garage. I had to plow the parking area. No big deal at all. That area got a bunch of snow just before we came. The one item that I wanted to point out is that if you need to get to the bathroom from the living/kitchen area, you need to go through one of the bedrooms or use the other entrance. Other than that, cozy little cabin. I liked it. Hopefully this write up helps other people get a feel for this cabin. Its a nice place. We had a good trip.

Beautiful Cabin Overlooking Lake
My son and I absolutely loved this cabin. Very clean, functional and well laid out. I do have a warning for those with a boat. Make sure the dock is actually available. We were unable to leave our boat in the water. The neighboring renters had a pontoon boat and a pontoon was stored on our side of the dock. Very disappointing. All in all we still had a very nice 4 days.

The place was adequate. It was very clean and had a lot more extras than I was expecting, like seasonings, foil, ziplocs, garbage bags, towels, washcloths, dishwasher soap, and games. It is has really nice looking furnishings, but they are not the most comfortable as they probably were when they were new. It was unfortunate that my entry code did not work initially, but that got that fixed within about a half hour. Water tasted like iron, and the shower was pretty small. The main bed was kind of uncomfortable. All in all, about what I'd expect in a Northwoods cabin for the price.

Great lake cabin with awesome views.
This is a very typical Wisconsin lake cottage. It had the charm and views that make it welcoming. The property was very clean and had everything that we needed. However, it does need some minor upgrades and if you have small children you would need to watch them to ensure their safety on the stairs to the lake.

Musky Fishing Base
This was a very pleasant place to stay. Four of is stayed hear and used it as a base for five days of musky fishing, very good location. The only negative for us was that the sofa bed was very uncomfortable and had only a top sheet for bedding. We would stay hear again if fishing the area.
