„The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Extras included were a wine & cheese platter each afternoon and homemade cookies to finish the day. Both were unexpected delights! And breakfasts were generous AND delicious. The room was comfy cozy and a great place to pause and enjoy. We've stayed in B&Bs in Newport several times over the years and found the Hydrangea House (HH) to be an A experience. Thank you to Kim and her team at HH. “

„If you stay here, you are literally at the center of downtown. Clean rooms, friendly staff. You need to check in at 1661 down the road and they will store your bags on arrival/departure day. „Wir waren auf unserem Neuengland-Trip in vielen Hotels und B&B. Das Haus selbst ist eine wunderbare Villa, ein echtes "historical landmark". Was dem Haus fehlt ist eine Seele, der es betreibt. Nur mit Türcode etc. funktioniert das nicht. Leider etwas ab vom Schuss, man braucht immer das Auto um nach Newport zum Hafen oder den Mansions zu fahren. “

„This is a cross between a hotel, a bed and breakfast, and an Airbnb. The room had a modern feel with a King-sized bed and a modern private bathroom with a shower stall - like a contemporary hotel. There is no front desk - similar to an Airbnb - although Randy and Lisa, the gracious and friendly hosts, were available whenever we needed them. Each morning, we were greeted with a wonderfully prepared breakfast of much higher quality than your typical hotel - what one would expect from a B&B.“
