„This is our third stay at Phyllis's little slice of heaven. I will not reinvent the wheel by repeating words from our former visit reviews, but I will say that for anyone who loves staying in a well furnished (historical) home with super comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen -- while still being able to bring your four legged friend and still get away from it all -- this is your place.It is certainly our ShangriLa, and we love that Phyllis provides access to such a wonderful dog-friendly home ...

„Our group had 10 adults and 10 kids aged 2-12, there was plenty of room/space and the bunk beds in each room were perfect for all families. The property is very secluded and clean. The rec room was great for both kids and adults, had a wonderful time in the huge backyard with the swingset and the fire pit was perfect! The porch was perfect for coffee in the morning and reading - even though it was pretty chilly. Nuthin’ a parka couldn’t handle. „If you're looking for a place just to sleep and be one with nature this is it! Kinda like glamping. There was mice poop everywhere, it's that time of year, didn't scare us. But their was no forks, towels, napkins, they only provided 1 trash bag we went through in a hurry and had to use grocery bags for garbage. Ran to gas station for forks and paper towels. The oven dorsnt wirk, so took 4 hours tobake a 20min bitter braid. Other than thst a good place to rough it and relax“

„What a beautiful piece of paradise. Lots of wildlife, little to no cell service (which we love, but no worries if you don't, Bill has phenomenal WIFI), and views for days! It's not a 5star resort, but thats the charm. LOVE!“

„The property had enough space for our group of 12. The Party Shed was well used. The hot tub was a great size for the kids to have fun - deep enough for somersaults! The beds were comfortable. The workout room was used, the theatre room was great for "down time" - these 2 rooms were accessed through a bedroom. This house has mostly sliding barn doors (every interior door except for 1 bathroom) - so quietness and privacy was compromised. While it was great fun, there were maintenance items that ...

„My husband and I came up for a quick visit to see my in-laws. I wish we could have spent more time at this cabin. It was adorable, it had all the necessary amenities. I loved the wood stove; it kept the cabin warm on chilly evenings. Staying right on the Wisconsin river was a bonus. I enjoyed sipping coffee on the porch and listening to the wind chimes. I saw from the guest book that many people who stay have returned multiple times since their first visit and I plan to come back, too! ...

„Very open plan with queen bed in bedroom. For the other 2, a sofa bed. Brand new and full of everything that you might need in the kitchen, including a coffee maker and coffee. Range is very nice—convection oven. Lots of amenities in the kitchen (foil, Saran Wrap, sandwich bags) and bathroom (toothbrush, soap, shampoo, hygiene products). Good supply of towels and paper products (I did bring in paper towels). Heating and AC were good—in Spring. North facing, so not sure about mid-summer. Location ...
