This was our 2nd annual girl's trip, and it was my turn to find a house. This charming farmhouse was clean, spacious, and warm. You can hear the train go by and whistle in the early mornings, too, which was pretty cool, although, I was the only one that heard it. LOL! I just wish the gas fireplace had been operational because we were looking forward to sitting by the fire at night. Betsy's husband was very nice, and did come by to attempt to start it up, but couldn't get it running. :-( There are no curtains in the living room on the very large window or on the French doors leading from the living room to the deck, and it would've been nice if there had been to make a bunch of city girls feel a little more secure (we watch too many creepy movies ;-) ). Also, the only cell service that works out there is Sprint. It was difficult to get a hold of Betsy when we first got there to find out how to unlock the house, but we finally got a hold of her. Thank goodness one of us had Sprint! Betsy had sent me an email with the information on how to unlock the house in the late morning the day of check-in, but we had already left to head up to the area, so I didn't see it. This was my first time ever renting a house off of one of these sites, so I didn't know how things worked. I just assumed we'd call, and she would be right there with a key at check-in time. Anyways, this is just some info so everybody knows what to expect! All in all, we all had a great time, and the area is beautiful and peaceful! :-)
