„Super friendly staff, air conditioned rooms, great facilities. Secure beds of room could have been a bit better, the door to the shared patio didn’t lock. Bit of a walk to get to town but not too bad. Nice cafes and Grocery store nearby. Overall an awesome stay!“

„We very much enjoyed the Ancora . The only concern was there is a dog chained up outside next to property and never seen anyone there . His chain was tangled and could barely move for days . We brought it up to the front desk , so hopefully something is being done about it . “

„Right on the main street so we could just walk out and find a restaurant or anything you want. Not a lot of English speaking staff but they quickly brought out a translater on there phones or a staff member who did and helped us quickly. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. We were there for Guayafest with all the Volkswagens and it was loud, upbeat and fun!“

„Nice place for a quiet vacation. The condo has all the amenities that you need. It is well maintained and the host is attentive if you need anything. “

„This was a peaceful oasis in a busy place. The rooms were beautiful and spacious with polished concrete floors, a little kitchenette with a full sized fridge, a comfortable couch and bed. The location was excellent to the centre square of the town (less than 5 minute walk). The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic in the beautiful courtyard. The gym is spacious, has relatively new equipment, and is air conditioned. There is also a great view from the gym!“

„The property, to no fault of their own, was very noisy due to construction directly across the street which meant we could not enjoy the pool. The manager was not around a lot, I had a complaint about people in the pool after midnight, they were smoking and drinking until after 1am but the manager was not around to tell. I would stay there again, but I would google map the area to see where the construction was taking place.“

„Llegamos y tuvieron q marcar para q vinieran a abrirnos. No sabían de nuestra reserva. Así q limpio no estaba. Chico Incomodo. Sin toallas. Llovió y con goteras. Era de noche todo se nos mojo. Muy incómoda la traila. Teníamos muchas ganas de vivir la experiencia y la odiamos. Para rematar apareció una araña. Muy incomoda la regadera. Llame y sentí q hasta se rieron … y no solo fue mi impresión. Me dijeron nos hubieras dicho. A las 2 de la mañana ??? Salimos al amanecer ya no ...

„Great stay, beautiful house, location was close to the beach. Have to go up and down a bit of a hill to the beach, but its a great location. House was clean and had everything we needed. Lots of parking in the font that's secure, and remotely gated. The pool and size of the yard in the back was great. It was nice and private. Area is safe and the beach is close. When in bucerias, Would stay again“

„El servicio es excepcional, las habitaciones amplias. La comida terminó medio, solo un restaurant es muy bueno. Me llamó la atención que hubo personas que pagaron un 30% menos de lo que a mí me costó. En general le pongo calificación media y poco recomendable, NO REGRESARÍA. “

Disappointing experience

"The check in was really the start of the bad experience because of a system issue between Hotels.com and Iberostar, the kids age was not correct and we needed to pay a lot more unexpectedly. In addition, the room was having an issue with the fire sensor and it was constantly flashing. The solution was to add tape to cover the light during the nights. Finally, I believe that the teams and employees help a lot and provide customer service, but due to orders and because of an out of common sense management, the full holiday was ruined. So not really interested in returning to an Iberostar hotel... "

A class of its own

"Great Hotel in Punta Mita with excellent service. Great Pools and jacuzzis. Excellent beach, very kind and helpful staff. Food and Drink prices are exaggerated though - it costs about twice as in other good hotels in Pta Vallarta area. Overall, excellent hotel that my wife and i enjoyed a lot."
