„This was our first visit to Punta de Mita. We are so happy we chose Ancora, it was perfect! The space was fabulous, we loved our deck & the rooftop infinity pool & view from the amazing restaurant! „This is a wonderful choice for people looking to really disconnect. It's peaceful, and there's a beautiful view over the sea. Rincon de Guyabitos is a lovely town and there are some fantastic beaches a short drive from the hotel. With that said, the property is a bit difficult to find. „The villa is absolutely stunning! You walk in and the view is breathtaking as you see the whole bay. The floor to ceiling doors of the main living space fully open up to the outdoor area and plunge pool. All 4 rooms are very spacious and beds are comfortable. The bunk bed room has an incredible 96” tv. The location is perfect to get to any of the restaurants and beach clubs as well as going into town. Everything was 5-15 minute golf cart ride. „Simple but Beautiful property very close to the center of town but far enough that it's quiet at night. Unit was very clean and had all of the basics. The property manager was super responsive and kind and let us have a very late check out time. Thank you! “

„This is good property with walking distance to beach. However, It is not ideal for people with disabilities as you have to take a few steps to the first floor and then walk down a street that is relatively steep. They were great with communication. If you need to purchase grocery just ask staff and they will assist. Restaurants were located about 10 minutes away. “

„The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed at for 5 days was spacious with a big kitchen, fully equipped with a microwave, oven, coffee maker, dishes. It also had 2 large terraces for lounging and entertaining and a huge king sized bed in each bedroom with its own full shower and a washer/dryer. Everything you could ask for plus a living room and kitchen table. We loved it. We stayed at "Casa Mini"“

„The view is a million Dollar View. The place is clean and the staff was great even through my poor Spanish and their minimal English. The cutely and other Kitchen utensils where lacking a fair bit. “

„Cool little spot firther from any amenities than I anticipated. Las Islitas was a 10min drive and very cool place to hang out. The beach at Kavala was pretty good, a bit less swimmable/beach vibe than expected but great for walking up and down at sunset. Overall nice stay, just a bit of a small isolated vibe. Enjoyed the pool too, though its quite small.“

They were happy to share their knowledge for transportation to and from the air port including a stop at the grocery store. All the best places to eat and where to get a wonderful massage. We Loved the sunshine the view and the pool and yes at times the Air conditioning. We will be back to Sayulita “

„We liked the property and enjoyed our stay but we found that there were alot of stairs and inclined and declined pathways. Very hard for someone with mobility issues. I need a knee replacement and we found we were to tired after supper to go anywhere. Our jacuzzi tub quit working halfway through the week and the staff went out of there way to fix it for us for the last evening. “

In addition, the room was having an issue with the fire sensor and it was constantly flashing. The solution was to add tape to cover the light during the nights. Finally, I believe that the teams and employees help a lot and provide customer service, but due to orders and because of an out of common sense ...

Disappointing experience

"The check in was really the start of the bad experience because of a system issue between Hotels.com and Iberostar, the kids age was not correct and we needed to pay a lot more unexpectedly. In addition, the room was having an issue with the fire sensor and it was constantly flashing. The solution was to add tape to cover the light during the nights. Finally, I believe that the teams and employees help a lot and provide customer service, but due to orders and because of an out of common sense management, the full holiday was ruined. So not really interested in returning to an Iberostar hotel... "
