„We loved our time here! Sandy bay is the best. We very much dislike the crowds of west bay/end. Sandy bay is so calm and peaceful and you feel like you are integrating among the locals. „We had a great week long stay at the cabana. Conrad and Vanessa were very responsive and helpful if we had any questions. We traveled with a 12 and 14 year old boy and they had a blast snorkeling the reef that was a short swim from the end of the pier. I recommend buying an inflatable snorkeling buoy from Amazon to bring with you. We bought groceries from Eldon’s on the way to the rental from the airport and cooked in the kitchen. „Easily walkable to Main Street and all the activities of Roatan. Used the hammocks in screened in porch mornings and evenings. Great place for families. Clothes washer and dryer super convenient. I got scuba certified at Island Diving, a 4 minute walk.“

„Place is as in pics. Our unit was close to road Loud & dusty. Beach was a bust. Did not want to sit on a dock!. Had the reviews mentioned the road work & the silt & that the water was not that great we would have not booked. The reef is not that close. „Staying at this property was an absolute dream. You are mere steps away from one of the most amazing beaches in all of the Caribbean. Not to mention the fact that local dining is only a small step away. Our host Megan was absolutely amazing. Everything was neat and well prepared upon our arrival. And she even threw in some amazing baked goods. This was the perfect place to spend my honeymoon 10 out of 10 highly recommend.“

„This was our second visit to Phoenix House. The primary reason we like this location (Sundancer) is the access to the reef. There are very few places in the tropical snorkeling business in the world where you can access a coral reef with a 10 minute swim. No boat rental necessary. Yes, you cross a boat channel, so heads up. My idea of heaven.“

„It was a unique small resort that was beautifully landscaped, felt a little like you were in the jungle. It was quiet off the beaten path. We felt very safe.
