Da das Haus auf einem Steilhang liegt, ist es ein leichter Spaziergang zum Strand, aber auf dem Rückweg ziemlich steil. Viele Gäste ziehen es vor, mit dem Auto zu fahren, und es ist eine einfache Route, die weniger als eine Meile direkt zum Sand führt! Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend zwischen Twin Rocks und der Innenstadt von Rockaway Beach. Beautiful View
The house was clean and well kept. Plenty of room for four ladies on a Girlfriends beach weekend. There’s a bedroom on main floor if anyone in your party has trouble with stairs. It was winter on the OR coast so didn’t spend much time on the deck. But the view is amazing! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house.

Girls Weekend
There were 4 of us in the house and it was so roomy we didn't need for anything so much extra in space. The VIEW was the winner for sure you could see the horizon and watch the sun set and the moon go over head in the early morning. There were so many windows facing the water and beach area you could see everything easily. The walk is all downhill to the beach which means it is all uphill to get back but what a workout that is. We loved the decor it was definitely beach scene and very well done. Thank you for a great place and the beautiful view from morning to night. Everything we needed was stocked and easy to find. We will truly stay here again if we get the chance.

This is a perfect house for a Girls’ Beach Getaway. Great location, spacious, and a view to die for! All the needed amenities, as well. Couldn’t have been better!

The view from the home is amazing. There were just three issues - there was not enough information on how to operate the front door locks (how to lock the door when you leave), it would have been better to have an air conditioning system that allowed setting separate temperatures for each level of the home, and the marketing information seemed to indicate that the property was much closer to the beach than it actually was.

Breathtaking and Serene
We were in awe from the moment we stepped inside. Very spacious and breathtaking views from every room and balcony. Perfect for our entire family. The only recommendation would be to change out the mirror above the fireplace for art due to the heat it reflects from the sun coming through the windows. We loved the aquarium lights above the stairwell and only wished we could have stayed longer. We never had to eat out and there is a grill and deck chairs available which made watching the sunset even more relaxing.

Amazing views and natural lighting
We had a great stay. The views of the ocean were amazing from main living area upstairs, downstairs and from each of the bedrooms. The neighborhood is quiet. Be warned that the drive up to the house is pretty steep.

House needs updates
House was nice but, crumbs and dirt on kitchen floor. Cabinets sticky and falling apart. Doors all stick when open and shutting. Bed in master very broke down caved into the middle. The worse thing was the furniture the couches up and down are the lowest and deepest we have ever seen. You get on and can’t get off. The porch outside chairs were the most comfortable here. We understand houses take a lot of abuse, but care like paint and touch up are a constant with rentals.

The place is well kept, clean with amazing view, not a place to walk to beach though. Great time of year to go as it is crabbing season. The beds were very comfortable , my Aussie friend said I should thank them for the water pressure. A;so a great jacuzzi bathtub. Our only problem was refrigerator not working, we didn't realize until after we bought food. They had a tiny fridge there and we attempted to make do. They had local guy come out and check - was unable to fix or obtain fridge while we were there for three nights. Fortunately the management staff of vacasa were very quick to answer our request and we are in process of receiving a monetary compensation for our inconvenience. So yes I would stay there again

It's all about the view
great view. couches sit too low, so no real comfortable seating, as stated in other reviews. But house has everything you need. Outdoor furniture is great for the deck. Kitchen is well appointed. Ice maker didn't work, but 4 ice cube trays and a bowl in the fridge to store your ice and nothing more is needed. I'd stay there again no question.

So we love this property for the space and view. The home is large and meets our needs in giving everyone space. But let's be honest, it's the million dollar view that brought us back. It's spectacular, and I can sit out on the deck for hours relaxing and watching the ocean. So for the most part, this place is great. There are some small tweaks that could help: master bed is very rickety and we felt could fall apart at any minute. The bed would literally bow in the middle when two people were laying on it. Upstairs TV is large, but not a smart tv. In this day and age, a smart tv is important for those that like to stream apps such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, HBO etc. We had to go about it by hooking up our laptop via HDMI to watch movies we wanted to watch. The Direct TV was torture and not worth our time channel surfing. The home was built in 92 and starting to show it's age. Small updates are needed (paint peeling, paint wearing out) the home is well used and can use some refreshing. Our last issue was the upstairs couch. It literally sucks you in and is hard to get in and out of. I know, hard to imagine, but anyone with mobility issues will have a difficult time using it. If those aren't deal breakers, you will LOVE this place. We've been here in summer and fall, and both times were magical. Rockaway is a small little town, not a lot, but plenty of other towns along the way (north and south) that have plenty of shopping and restaurants.

Overpriced
First time we ever had a bad experience with a vacation rental. Vacasa knew the dryer didn't work but "forgot" to tell us until we already had a load of wet laundry from the washing machine. The beds and couches seriously sag. Couldn't use the garbage disposal. A cracked wine glass had just been put back on the shelf (luckily we noticed). Vacasa has a formal policy of not providing enough toilet paper or soap, and when we asked, were told we should have brought our own. Basically, contracting out management to Vacasa means that no one cares and no one is accountable.
