„Sehr abgelegen, weitab von jeglicher Zivilisation, dafür ist man in absoluter Nähe zum Eingang des North Cascades NP. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bzw. Tankstelle gibt es auf jeden Fall in Darrington, eventuell noch in Concrete. Restaurants gibt es nicht in der näheren Umgebung, essensmäßig kann man sich besser selbst versorgen. „Was already nice and toasty inside which was wonderful since it was freezing outside. All instructions were easy to follow getting there and inside the cabin. Very clean with a little binder that had details on anything we’d want to know. Everything stocked inside that we could need so that was a nice surprise. TV outdated and very slow, that’s the only small gripe we had. “

„Our stay was during the rainy month of late October and even though the weather was drizzly. The surrounding trees allowed us to enjoy the outside space as much as possible. Trips to the hot tub, outhouse, and outside kitchen were protected from the rain drops by the majestic canopy. The inside space was the perfect respite from wind and rain. We enjoyed our escape from home.“

„A very clean and spacious cabin/house with total privacy. Easy access from the highway and close to the NCNP and hiking trails. Owner is easily accessible if there are any issues. Kitchen is stocked with all appliances and cookware needed-however bring any foods/spices/etc as there is only S&P available at the cabin. Recommended for a long term accommodations.“

„The wall of windows looking out at Skagit River was spectacular. Having that view from the spacious living room/dining area with its fireplace, exposed rock-faced chimney, and comfy sofas made it a wonderful place to relax. With the cabin's proximity to town, we got take-out so we could dine in the beautiful cabin instead! The cabin is dog-friendly with its fenced yard, and it was just a short walk to the public trail down to the shoreline of the river. “

„Great spot, and a wonderful place to stay with your spouse, we enjoyed the spot and the layout and amenities. Was very hot at night with heat off and ceiling fan on high, even so we had to have both loft windows opened enjoying the winter breeze. Wifi is absolutely terrible. Very hard to stream anything. „The area around Mt. Baker has limited infrastructure, but Sunwater Resort is a refreshing exception. Located just 30 minutes from the ski resort, it’s an excellent base for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts, offering great amenities like a pool, hot tub, and sauna. The condo was clean and well-equipped with essential kitchen appliances and utensils. It’s also a great choice for families, with both indoor and outdoor playgrounds for kids. Highly recommend!“
