Situated between Copano Bay and Salt Lake, this beautiful 3BR/2BA home is fresh from a complete remodel – including new windows, doors, floors, and furnishings. An airy floor plan opens to the two-story back deck and dock, both of which are also brand-new. Take in the stunning water views, go for a boat ride, or cast a fishing line off the dock.

Downtown Rockport is a short drive from your door, and the beach is just over 5 miles from home. Find some of the best barbecue in Texas at Stevie Lew's 6 minutes away by car.

If you're traveling with a larger group, another home is available to rent right next door.

High ceilings with exposed beams soar in the open-concept living room. Relax in a recliner love seat and sofa for a movie screening on the 65” flat-screen. A quiet and sunny desk area overlooks the water.

KITCHEN & DINING

New stainless steel kitchen appliances and glossy countertops elevate the culinary experience. Whip up favorite recipes with ease, thanks to a large French-door fridge and a butcher block food prep area. Kitchen extras include a Keurig machine and a coffee maker.

BED & BATH

This two-story home sleeps six guests in three beautiful bedrooms.

Upstairs, the master suite features a king-size bed, 32” TV, and private access to the upper deck. The adjacent guest room offers a queen-size bed. A Jack-and-Jill bathroom between the rooms is configured with a walk-in shower with pristine tile work.

Downstairs, the third bedroom has a queen-size bed, incredible views of Salt Lake, and access to the main deck. Adjacent, a guest bathroom features another tastefully tiled walk-in shower.

OUTDOOR AREAS

Lush grass and fruit trees surround the property, and the backyard rolls right up to Salt Lake. A brand-new dock provides the perfect fishing perch and a fish cleaning station.

Find plenty of seating on the two-story deck, plus a table for outdoor dining. The sunrises and sunsets from this outdoor oasis are unforgettable.

With downtown Rockport and the beach just minutes away, this home on Salt Lake is a dream destination for boaters, fishermen, and those who simply love the water. Rockport Beach is an 11-minute drive from your door, and Goose Island State Park awaits 14 minutes southwest.

Rockport Kayak Guide Services is your local company for fishing charters and boat rentals, and the picturesque Tule Hike & Bike Trail begins in a 7-minute drive. Step back in time at the Fulton Mansion State Historic Site in 4.5 miles.

**Due to the location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee pests or bugs will not be visible.

The house was perfect! The view was amazing. We had a really nice time. I would suggest however that the fishing pier be repaired or replaced. We did not feel comfortable using it as it had several loose boards and the railing was too short. Overall stay was a10!

Perfect Family Home

We can’t say enough good things about the li action and property. Great fishing! Quiet neighborhood. Clean home. Everything we needed. Down stars room was perfect for my older in-laws. We shared the upstairs with our kids. Only problem was mosquitos. We got some OFF and some thermacell repellers to help with that. We will DEFINITELY be back!!

House was great, but had some issues.

First, we LOVED the house. We stay in Copano Bay area when we visit Rockport & this was probably our favorite house that we have stayed at. Perfect for family & kids. We did have a few issues with our stay though. The front door used a combination code lock that did not work upon our arrival, we were given another code that worked on day one, by day 2 it did not work again. So, we spent time speaking with property managers while outside attempting to get into the house more than once before we were finally given an actual key to the house. The mosquitos were absolutely horrible, the worst I've ever seen. That being said, we know that the mosquito population is out of the owner's control but things could have been done to help to manage. The grass could be cut & lawn managed more frequently during rainy seasons. There were bushes/vines on the house in the front and back that could have been cut back to help reduce the mosquitos. We bought several mosquito repellants and candles, etc & nothing helped. We rented this house specifically for the decks out back & the pier & we were unable to enjoy the outside living area at all due to the bugs. By the time we left, my husband had over 50 bites on each limb. We had a couple bug issues inside the house as well that were acknowledged, but could not be addressed as it was a weekend. I would also state that the downstairs bed needs some adjusting, the supports under the bed are not stable at all. Overall we enjoyed the house itself.

Cleanliness is not the priority

If you don’t care about cleanliness and like to sleep on dirty used sheets, this is the place for you! Upon entering we were kindly greeted by half a dozen flies, stains on the floor in the kitchen and mold in the dishwasher. The dishwasher filter hadn’t been cleaned EVER and the dishes and utensils that were in the drawers were dirty. The best part about our stay would be on our third night when we moved the comforter back, we found dark colored hair on the sheets, my family has all light colored hair. When I tried to address cleanliness with the property management I was told that a case was opened but I have yet to hear back. The pictures are fairly accurate minus the backyard/water picture that shows a platform leading to the water, the platform is no longer there.. Best thing was the fishing we caught quite a bit over our stay. Deck is in major need of repair with a lot of unsecured planks, the latch to the gate going to the pier is completely rusted and broken, thankfully we have no super small children so we left it open the entire time. It was a truly disgusting and disappointing experience based on the lack of cleanliness for the amount of money and planning that we did ahead of time. This was supposed to be a great family and birthday trip and I spent the majority of the time cleaning.

4th of July Celebration

We loved this house and how it's mere steps from the water. We sat at the end of the duck and watched fireworks from multiple cities/towns. It was the best way to watch. No crowds, no parking issues, no dumb drivers! We will definitely come back!

Everything great except for WiFi. Instructions on email were not correct about WiFi. I spent first 90 minutes of my trip on the phone and app trying to get someone to help me with WiFi. The network name was not what the email said it would be. It really grinded my gears. But After I figured out WiFi the rest of stay was perfect. Update you WiFi instructions please.

Wonderful home on water.

We had a great stay. We look for a home that really feels like home and this is a lovely home. Very clean and comfy. Fabulous local artists displayed in many walls. Great beds. Large tv which made good use of in the cooler weather. Unfortunately we couldn’t kayak due to the weather but we’ll be back for a warmer week next year.
