Perfect family lakefront cottage
This property was the perfect fit for our family vacation. We had 6 adults (great grandma, grandma, mom, dad, sister, boyfriend and 3 kids (ages 6, 4 and 4 months). More than enough bedrooms. The bathrooms were a little odd given they’re connected to the bedrooms but barely worth mentioning.
The property had more than expected. Plenty of cooking supplies. Many basic pantry items. Cleaning supplies and paper goods were abundant compared to most VRBOs I’ve stayed in.
The area of the lake is perfect for young kids as noted. The water is so shallow near the shore but deep enough you can rent/bring a boat and walk it to the dock area.
Very much appreciated that there were fans in every room, although the cottage never got too warm. Also very much appreciated all the chairs, on the dock, near the fire pit and on the patio. My kids loved the sand toys too!
The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for cleanliness is because the carpets and the pillows could use a good cleaning.
We would absolutely recommend and would rent this property again.
