„Considering that area does not have convenient hotels, this location was perfect for the event we attended. It was nice of them to vacate their home so we could stay - though we wish that would have been communicated. There is no extra room with twin beds - at least not functional. The property is nice. Whomever took the pictures did a great job. It worked for us for the short time we were in the area.“

„This house is fantastic in every way. The space is spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. Kerry was super communicative, extremely professional and so nice.. The house was filled with unexpected amenities and the views are spectacular. This was the perfect spot for the 6 of us. “

„My mom, dog, and I attended a convention in New Milford about 15-20 minutes away from the cottage. It served us well and was really convenient that it was pet friendly. In a nice neighborhood Note: though it did not affect us, it’s definitely not a handicap accessible stay. “

„Newtown is a special New England village that was founded in 1705. This 3-bedroom house on a small lake was perfect for 6 of us to relax in between family activities around the area. Best for folks who can handle steps. Gorgeous main, open living space takes up entire main floor where we played games, watched tv, cooked, ate and read. Recommended. “

„The house and view of the the lake where beautiful, we went in early spring. There was a lot of games and activities to do in the house the kayaking was nice and everything you needed was included in the house and was very pet friendly. That all being said there was a surprisingly amount of ants for this time of year inside the house, it didn't bother us too much but I can imagine it could be a problem for someone else. „My girlfriends and mine were looking for a nice weekend getaway to unwind. The property was very clean. The basement level seemed a little more disheveled than pictured and very cold. „This was an amazing trip for me and my wife to enjoy a nice private get away. The property was very clean. The owner Gabe was very friendly and kind their dogs were a delight and very playful happy dogs. The experience overall was very nice for both of us.“

„The house on the lake is clean and very cute. A few things to keep in mind… The stairs to the loft are VERY steep and VERY narrow. So both adults and small children may struggle to get up and down, especially with any type of luggage. There are no closets or dressers for your clothes so maybe bring hangers and a hook for behind the door. Everything else was perfect. “

„Our family's stay at Helen and Richie's property for the holidays was perfect. Waking up to views of the lake every morning, watching flocks of birds travel on the water and being surrounded by nature was all we could ask for. The house has all amenities provided in the kitchen, bathrooms etc. Location is convenient near shops, grocery, and restaurants in New Fairfield.
