Rosebud is one of the three properties Crooked Mountain Cabins offers. Located on 40 acres of rolling meadows and forests, Crooked Mountain Cabins are an easy 20-minute drive from the Wasagaming townsite of Riding Mountain National Park. This lovely cabin is open from May - October and is perfect for groups up to 4. It offers peace and quiet in nature and is situated close to the forest's edge. It is perched on an elevated lookout with a lovely view of the property and wildflower meadow. Guests love the screened-in deck to enjoy the fresh air and views of the meadow and forest.

Rosebud Cabin is fully-equipped and feels like a home away from home. You will wake up to birdsongs and can walk out your cabin door on a private, groomed trail which loops through the forest for a 2 km hike. The cabin offers a serene atmosphere for nature enthusiasts looking to enjoy the property’s beauty or visitors to Clear Lake Country looking for tranquility after a day in Wasagaming.
This cabin has a full kitchen including stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and more. There is also a gas BBQ on the screened-in deck. Also supplied are blankets, towels (except beach), toilet paper, tissue, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, saran, tinfoil, coffee filters, salt, pepper and sugar. The drinking water is excellent – no need to bring bottled water. All you need to bring is your own food and drink.
Crooked Mountain Cabins is home to many wildlife, fungi, and bird species, including the Great Grey Owl - making us a popular destination for birdwatchers, artists and photographers. Our guests enjoy hiking the private hiking trail, fishing in the nearby creek, biking on country roads, golfing in Clear Lake, photographing wildlife, writing, and painting.
Rosebud Cabin provides guests with peaceful retreat in nature along with easy access to modern conveniences and all that Clear Lake Country has to offer. Nature enthusiasts can explore the on-site hiking trail or spot the various bird and animal species that call the forest home.
In Riding Mountain National Park, guests can hike, bike, boat, canoe, kayak, swim, fish, golf, picnic, and much more! The Wasagaming townsite features a lovely beach and will satisfy all of your shopping, dining, and entertainment needs.
