Welcome to Eagle Point at Stinson Lake located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Experience one of the most beautiful and cleanest Lakes in New England. Stinson Lake is the largest Lake at the highest elevation located inside the White Mountain National Forest. Eagle Point encompasses 135 acres with over 350 feet of water frontage. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, boating or fishing from our sandy beach cove. Hike, bike, ski or snowmobile the trails right outside the front door.
The Mountain House at Eagle Point can accommodate 10-12 guests with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There is an open concept kitchen that flows right into a nice dining area. A large and open living area with 75 inch TV to relax after a day’s adventure. Or enjoy s’mores around the fire pit just outside while watching the amazing sunsets with commanding views over the Lake and Mountains. The star gazing is fantastic.
The rooms include 2 King beds, 2 Queen beds, 1 Full bed and 2 Single Beds. Linens and bath towels are provided - bring your own beach towels. There is a full and open concept Kitchen with stove, microwave, refrigerator and dish washer. As well as a laundry area with washer and dryer.
There is local hiking to Stinson Mountain, Carr Mountain or Three Ponds Trail with waterfalls. Stinson Lake is stocked with all sorts of varieties of fish and the area abounds with wildlife including moose, bear, deer, loon, eagles, osprey, heron, kingfishers, owls and more.
Our private beach is for Eagle Point guest’s only. It is accessed by a short forest trail. You can walk from the house or park just above the beach and walk down about 100 feet in elevation to our sandy beach cove. Bring along a boat and enjoy waterskiing and the sunrises and sunsets from the open water.
In Winter enjoy local skiing, skating, hiking, snowshoeing and sledding. The higher elevation provides for amazing snowmobiling right on the local Bruhawachet groomed trails that connect to all the trails throughout the State.
