The hotel could use a lick of paint here ant there and you see that the owners do their best, but the castle is very large and surely there is much to do. „The room was very spacious and comfortable. The property is old (steeped in history) but the room had all the features we needed. The instructions were excellent and the owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. The bed was a little creaky and the pillows were a little thin/soft for my preferences, but perfectly comfortable and adequate. Great value for money. Great location. Highly recommend the breakfast!! A great stay - would stay again. “

„We had a fabulous time here. The property is excellent, check in a breeze, location idyllic and hosts fantastic.We really had a great relaxing time. The home is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. We used the slow cooker which I wasn't expecting them to have. A great stock of board games too. It is truly a home away from home. „Relaxing view from the balcony overlooking the water and park, sitting in a swinging chair. Property was as described by owner. The owner messaged before arriving for stay, to say there was an issue with hot tub, and he was arranging someone to look at it. He was very apologetic about this and it was repaired the following morning, and all ready to use later on in the day. As I have some mobility issues I needed to be careful getting into the tub but was sooo worth it once I did. I have ...
