„First thing to know is that this cottage does not have wifi or cellular service available!!!!!!! You can make a phone call but it will likely drop if you move. I made the error of assuming that a place that listed a Smart TV would have to have wifi. The host notified me the day before our trip that there would be no WiFi, no firewood (found out that the place is heated by a combination of radiant and wood stove!) and we were “strongly encouraged” to bring our own linens… So more glamping than ...

„We had an amazing week!! The property is beautiful!! The only negative was that we had no cleaning spray? Also no oils sugar or spices to cook with. We were missing a measuring cup and measuring spoons to do any kind of baking. I ended up driving to mount laurier to buy because I love baking ❤️ This was the only negative! „Great south-facing deck. Clean and functional cottage. Ceiling fans work really well to keep the rooms cool. Gas and charcoal BBQs worked well. Cottage is newly renovated and clean. All supplies working well. One thing to note is that access to water is a set of 38 or 40 stairs (solid stairs). The dock currently has no ladder. The bottom is mucky and weedy. But the place was so great that it is was a minor inconvenience. Thanks for having us and being responsive to our needs.“

„We are a big family with grandparents, aunts, uncles & grandkids aged 6, 2 and 11 months. Everyone had a spectacular time. This is the best equipped home we’ve seen. The toys, games and movies are incredible. Our 6-year-old could not get enough Family Feud games. The beds and linens are lovely. Kitchen has everything! Two fridges were fantastic. Can’t say enough. We had a wonderful Time.“

We canoed the river on both sides and felt that the location of this dock was by far the best. We enjoyed the fishing, our walks, the gazebo, the view, the whole experience. „We spent a wonderful week at Christian's cottage. The house was spacious and spotlessly clean. All the basics needed for a comfortable stay were fully stocked and well organized.
