"Bernard and his wonderful wife gave us such a warm welcome into their thick-walled and fascinating old farmhouse. The house sits at the end of a long lane into a magical forrest. The accommodation comprises a lovely upstairs bedroom, a kitchen/bedroom/living room where our hosts had lived for decades and a separate bathroom/utility room on the other side of the small courtyard. One can eat either outside or in a separate room off the courtyard. A walker’s paradise in a home steeped in history...

Dog friendly, dog allowed in bar area not in restaurant for breakfast though, but we never had breakfast Dog friendly Italian restaurant next door, good.
