„Very remote feeling but only 5 miles from town. This place is a little gem, with all the amenities and then some to make sure you feel right at home. We appreciated having somewhere close to our kids to be able to have a holiday dinner with. The sound of the river while outside was so peaceful. And we walked down to it to skip rocks. „A perfect place to welcome spring! The Lolblolly Pines on each side of the hot tub were beautiful to look at and sunrises and sunsets were so relaxing. The front porch was also a great spot. Definitely check out the closeby Meramac Spring Park. We would love to return. “

„We chose this property for our 1st Christmas away from home. I traveled with my husband, 3 kids aged 10-17, and 2 dogs. „We stayed here just to get away for the weekend. We were blown away with how much we loved it. We were greeted by “Carl” the cat. Our stay was very quiet but full of sights. The horses are so fun to just sit and watch. We also had all 3 guard dogs come join us for dinner one night lol. Our cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed! „We stayed here with Friends for a wedding for three nights. The check in was quick and easy. One bath, especially only one toilet, for four persons can be difficult, but we arranged ourself good. To eat: Only two chairs for four persons (bessing for five persons), so we decided to eat on the couch. The beds were in bad condition, they made loud noises with every move and they were not quite comfy.“

„We chose to stay here with our 4 kids while visiting family in the area. It fit the bill perfectly for what we needed. Check-in process was easy. Bring a pillow if you are able - the ones provided don’t offer much support (we always bring our own when we can!). We are definitely keeping this on our list to revisit when we come back again. Great price, nice and quiet location. Was more affordable for us over the hotels in town and more comfortable!“

„Selected a weekend in December for a short cabin stay. We got really lucky with mild weather and we were even able to enjoy the fire pit one night. The cabin was as advertised. Very good cabin feel. The kitchen was fully stocked and Caroline confirmed ahead of time on a couple items we needed to cook with we’re already there.
