Beverley was very accommodating to our requests before we arrived and checked in to see if we needed anything. Lovely quiet property about 100 ft from the main house. You're located on the top of a three car garage so the view of the lake is as shown in photos. We had a small dog with us so plenty of room behind the rental property to throw a ball. Cons were there are no hooks at entry and the bedrooms have large but odd closets if you want to hang anything, so no hooks for hanging robes or daily clothes changes, etc. but each bedroom did have a chair or lounge to make up for that. Coat closet at top of stairs upon entry. No handsoap at kitchen sink and minimal dishrags, teatowels and toilet tissue. No AC so to keep the place cool its best to keep the blinds down- which obscured the view we wanted to see from about 10 am-7 pm as it cools down outside in between those hours (July.) Pros: lg. yard, kitchen is well appointed for cutlery and dishes, full sized fridge/freezer, fans provided and the temperature was comfortable inside, patio has an umbrella for shade, clean in bathroom and comfortable overall.
It probably wouldn't have taken much to add AC when they built this or as an addition, and increase the rental rate a few dollars per night to pay for that- assuming that is allowed in rural rental properties in BC. That would have opened up the whole view outside the window that was a large part of why I booked the property. Would book again. Thank you for pleasant stay.
