1-Bedroom Condo in the Heart of the City

Summary:
Located in the heart of the city within an easy 3.5 blocks of the convention center, this executive suite condominium is perfect for anybody that wants to stay downtown in a neighborhood that's close to everything. Features a hot tub, seasonal outdoor swimming pool, 24-hour fitness center, and free high-speed Wi-Fi. It's decorated with all-new furnishings and décor, like granite countertops, hardwood floors, and brand new high-end furniture (not particle board!)

The Space:
The condo is filled with new high-end furniture and decor to make your stay feel like home. There are granite countertops and enough dining seating for everyone to sit together comfortably. The king-sized bed has a new deluxe memory gel mattress with deluxe pillows for a great night's sleep. The sofa in the living room folds out to a comfortable queen bed. The television in the living room is a smart TV and it comes ready for you to log into all of your favorite streaming services. There is a small balcony with a large sliding door located off of the living room.

When staying in a downtown environment, safety is key and we have you covered: We have 24-hour security guards that roam the premises, which is fully-gated. The parking spot you'll be assigned is inside of a highly-secure gated area and is covered from rain and snow. The complex has a seasonal outdoor pool, a year-round hot tub, a 24-hour gym with free weights & cardio equipment, a coffee shop, and a convenience store. The rental comes with one free covered parking space and unlimited free street parking. No cats allowed. Dogs require a $99 pet fee.

There are no stairs that need to be navigated whatsoever and the elevator is only about 30 feet from the unit's door. Note that it is a condo complex, so other people live in the area and you might hear them. All linens and towels are included. We own several other condos in this same complex, so if you're looking for more space, we can rent multiple units to you.

Guest Access:
We'll send out detailed check-in instructions a few days before your arrival. To access your condo unit, you'll need an electronic key fob to enter the building and a key to enter your unit. There is a lock-box bolted onto the wall outside of the building, and we'll give you detailed instructions on how to find that lockbox, as well as a code to get into it where you'll find the fob and the key. Super simple!

Check-in time is 5pm, but we can usually get you in earlier than that if no other guests are in the condo right before you and if you coordinate with us ahead of time. When Airbnb says that your check-in time is "flexible", they mean that we can work with you if you request an early check-in; it doesn't mean that you can check in whenever you want and we don't guarantee early check-ins. So please plan on getting our approval for your check-in time. Please request high chairs, pack-n-play cribs, blow-up beds, and strollers prior to arrival.

Getting Around:
There is an inexpensive bus system that will take you almost anywhere in the valley and this home is very close to several of the bus stops. This condo complex is also about a half block away from a light rail (Trax) train station. You can look up either of their schedules online (Airbnb prevents us from putting internet links in this section so we can't provide them).

Other Things to Note:
WE HAVE NO HIDDEN FEES. Our only fees are clearly listed in several places on this listing: There is a a one-time cleaning fee which is clearly listed by Airbnb. Dogs are welcome, NO CATS ALLOWED, any other type of animal needs to be approved ahead of time. Conventions rates & holidays will override the standard rates shown, even if the convention dates change. Some convention dates are not input yet, and will apply regardless of reservations and inquiries made.

Rates fluctuate automatically according to a computer-driven algorithm based on supply & demand. But don't worry, your rates will be locked in at the time you pay for your reservation, so if they go up or down, we will not charge you the difference or give you a refund. So no worries - we'll honor your original rates :-)

We can provide one travel crib (pack n' play), one baby high-chair, one self-inflating deluxe twin bed kit, and one baby stroller free of charge on request. Additional cribs, high-chairs, or beds can be provided, but each additional item will cost $25 per stay. Last-minute requests are not guaranteed.

This is a full-time vacation rental - it is not cluttered with an owner's personal items since nobody lives here.

Perfect location for convention center!

We really enjoyed our stay. Apartment is super quiet, clean, safe and has everything we needed for our visit to SLC for a conference at the Salt Palace convention center. It’s a short walk ( maybe 5 minutes) to the train stop, then 2 stops to get to Temple Square and Salt Palace, so it takes only 15 minutes or so to get there! Checkin was easy, and they provide a video to help you find the parking spot and apartment within the complex. Owner was quick to respond to all questions. We used the well-equipped kitchen. Perfect for us!

We liked the updated unit. The only downside was the train which you could hear. We used the fan that we found in the closet to drown out the noise. It worked perfectly. There is also a great coffee shop on the property near where you enter with a car. Great breakfast,
