Welcome to Keystone Retreat, your perfect home away from home in San Antonio! Our charming 3 bedroom home plus detached Casita, is located in the Keystone neighborhood in the Deco District, a vibrant and up and coming area in the heart of San Antonio.

Built in the 1940s, our home has been thoughtfully updated and decorated with classic design, offering a unique and stylish experience for our guests. The home features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a detached Casita with bunk beds and living space. The home comfortably sleeps 8 and that is maximum capacity.

We believe in a good night's sleep and have provided high end mattresses with premium linens. Both down and synthetic pillows are available for your choosing, as well as down duvets and cotton blankets.

The Casita is detached from the main house and is located in the fenced yard. It has a living area with futon, TV, a sink area and a dedicated remote work desk, perfect for those who need to work from home during their stay. (Note: There is not a bathroom in the Casita)

The recently remodeled kitchen, in the main house, supplies all your needs for a family meal. Also provided is a full size washer and dryer with detergent for your convenience. There is a private covered patio with dining table and a grill for a nice meal outdoors.

We do allow pets but must be pre-approved prior to booking. There is a two dog maximum and requires a pet fee upon booking. (Please see pet rules prior to booking)

The temperature in the home is kept between 70 and 78 for your comfort.

Our home is located just a short distance from downtown San Antonio and other popular tourist attractions, such as the Alamo, River Walk, and Pearl District. The Keystone neighborhood is known for its active and friendly community, making it the perfect place to stay for those looking to experience the local San Antonio culture. Whether you are visiting for business or pleasure, Keystone Retreat is a comfortable home base for your San Antonio adventures.

The owners of this cute little place are the absolute best! We booked this adorable house for a girl's trip to see an Aerosmith concert. The owners made our trip special having an Aerosmith record available, memorabilia and a bottle of wine for us to enjoy during our stay! This updated rental has it all! Great host communication, comfortable beds, clean rooms, great location and a quiet neighborhood making our trip easy and relaxing.

Perfect Stay for Air Force Graduation – Clean, Comfortable, and Conveniently Located
We stayed at this house for my son's Air Force graduation, and the location was perfect—just 30 minutes from the base and 15 minutes from the Riverwalk. The house was very clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. It was also well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. If we ever find ourselves back in San Antonio, we wouldn't hesitate to book this property again.

Very peaceful
At first I was skeptical of the location but once we turned into the subdivision area it was better. The house is an older home but very well maintained and updated. The pics are exactly what the house and property look like the house was stocked with everything but groceries lol. Even though the kids had me thinking the house was haunted at one point it was them telling Google to turn all the lights on and off lol. Definitely recommend and will def stay again

This was a good place to stay
There was a separate cottage for the big kid and two of the bedrooms shared a hallway and a bathroom, with a door to close off that part of the house at the kids bedtime. TBH we spent most of the time in the luxurious backyard. Grocery store in walking distance and under 10 minute drive to the convention center, which was convenient. I don’t really have anything negative to say.

My family traveled from Oklahoma, Arkansas and New Jersey to watch our son graduate from the Air Force. Our first time in San Antonio. James and Honey were full of information. They always answered any questions I had. The house was very nice with all the amenities we needed to enjoy our stay. I would give a higher rating if I could. You couldn't ask for better hosts. Character and Charm
We stayed at this property for our daughter’s BMT graduation. It was the perfect fit for a group of 7 hanging out with our new airman on her passes for the day. (Could accommodate a few more if indoor and outdoor space is utilized.) I would suggest using the route to the base entrance on Valley Hi. The property owners have gone above and beyond to make sure when staying at this property you have all the necessary amenities and then some!!! Can I also say that James responded to questions within a reasonable time and continued to accommodate through out our stay. If you want a quaint, comfortable and clean property to host you and your family & friends (almost like hosting at a family’s home) to celebrate in such a momentous occasion or just coming to see San Antonio don’t pass up the chance to stay at this charming home full of character.

Top of the line hosts, to pair with an Amazing and cozy property! Book Immediately!
Keystone Retreat is truly an incredible hidden gem in San Antonio. This property is tucked away in a quiet and peaceful location. James and Honey have done an incredible job with the renovations to this cute little property. Everything was clean and well stocked with everything you need, it’s literally home away from home. The beds are absolutely amazing, you will 100% get a good nights rest no matter what bed you sleep on. Keystone retreat accommodated 6 of us comfortably. We were able to cook meals, grill, and enjoy the backyard patio area. All you need is your groceries if you plan on cooking home cooked meals, everything you need to prepare the meals, are stored neatly in the kitchen cabinets. There is a nice HEB grocery store one block down the street that was so convenient, it made life so much easier on us. We booked this rental for my son’s BMT graduation at Lackland Air Force Base, it is roughly 20-30 minutes from the base depending on traffic, my son was ready to do absolutely nothing but chill at Keystone Retreat during his 2 town pass days. We did enjoy a few restaurants and coffee shops in the area that were not difficult to get to from our rental so that was nice. I can’t say enough good things about this rental, you just have to see for yourself. James and Honey are hands down the most courteous, accommodating, and quick to respond if you need assistance. The check in and out process was super easy thanks to the James and Honey. You will not be disappointed!

My daughter was graduating from the Air Force so found this house at a good price booked it . And right away after communicating with the owners and they were just so helpful and nice i felt good. But once we checked in to the house i was amazed. The place was perfect so clean and nice and so many amenities i don't know if I'll ever go back to a hotel. The technology it had and it was so comfortable. I loved this place. And me first time in texas the owners were so helpful, sweet and super fast responses. This was first Vrbo experience and it was great . I would definitely stay here again.

James and Honey were the best hosts I’ve encountered for a vacation rental. They were gracious to accommodate my friends, who are like my family. I was moving to San Antonio and their home was a perfect place for a weekend getaway, as a gift to them, as an appreciation for helping me move to the area. It was our last weekend together before us saying hasta luego my friends! The home was beautiful, clean, and it was in a perfect location close to all tourist attractions. Best experience ever!
