Great area, lots of walkable things!
overall great little community of houses, perfect for couples. only downside was the walls are very thin and you can hear everything outside going on. It was very clean! only a block away from the beach and a 10 minute walk from a bunch of shops and restaurants. parking was easy to find even though it was only street parking.

Perfect Beach Stay!
My family loved this stay. It was small but fit my husband, toddler, and I perfectly! I loved the location. It was a short walk to the beach, close to a strip of businesses, and overall a super friendly area. There is a nice sitting area outside with a nice fire pit. Parking was a little tricky in the afternoon because street parking filled up. Also, we ended up with a ticket because the opposite side of the road has a different street sweeping day. But overall a great stay at a great price!

This place is a gem.
The place was clean and well equipped. The location is a huge selling point. Walk to anything. The restaurants near by are top notch and everything you might need groceries wise is near by. I will be looking at this location first for additional visits to the area.

Minutes to the beach. Easy to grab Uber to anywhere. Very clean and comfortable. Ate at a few places on Ocean Beach that were amazing-Hodad's, Newbreak. All was great. Thanks for the great stay. We will be happy to return. (If the temperature continues to stay this warm in the summer you may need to look into AC or a screen for the door so it can be left open)

Great place
Great place. Loved the location. Nice cozy environment for myself and my dog. The only thing I would suggest is when you go bring a fan as it’s very warm inside and even with a ceiling fan there isn’t much air circulation. A screen door would be great. I brought my air fryer as I read that there wasn’t a microwave. Many restaurants and pubs close by. I’ll stay here again.

Poor communication
We booked a 3 night stay. The property is cute but very basic. The neighborhood is not the best but we knew that going in. The real concern is the lack of communication with the host. We messaged them to notify them about an issue with the standing air conditioner. Ocean Beach has a persistent smell of weed all around so leaving the windows open isn't really an option especially with a small child and it can get warm in the room. The host did not respond about the unit not working. I sent another follow up message about a different matter the following day, no response. I texted the number they provided, no response. Overall the property got the job done but I would make a couple of recommendations. -2 bath towels for 3 people (2 adults and a baby) is not enough. If you shower in the evening, the towels won't be fully dry by the morning time -need hand soap at both sinks not just in the bathroom -the knobs on the oven are missing and it was hard to tell if gas was turned off fully --it could lead to someone not properly turning gas off -it looked like a carbon monoxide monitor or fire alarm was missing

A perfect little cottage for a quick family getaway. The place was clean. We enjoyed the walks around the neighborhood with dog beach not too far from us. My dog and kids had a fun time.

Very nice cottage
The cottage was beautiful and true to the listing it was a short walk to the beach. We brought our two dogs with us, which was great to find a place that allowed pets. It was nice having a full kitchen, though I didn’t read prior to that there was no microwave. But that would be the only negative I have. I also am not sure if I just couldn’t figure out the pull out couch situation (not enough bed space with my wife and baby). I tried to see handles to pull out a bed but didn’t see any. It might be user error, but the couch was wide enough to be kind of a little bigger than a twin bed, and it was comfortable. I found extra linens in the trunk in the cottage, so I was able to make the couch into a bed. Also, I was surprised to see the cleaning crew in another cottage actually cleaning the blinds, something that can be missed by some. The cottage was clean, organized, and worked perfectly for my family. I don’t mind staying again if I find myself back in San Diego in the future.

Great location for your buck!
Location was great. Said it fits 4 so I thought the sofa was a pullout and it was not so def read more carefully. And no bathroom fan in the bathroom so showering was a little tough. Lastly, needs a microwave. Otherwise… great location for you buck! Walking distance to restaurants and the beach. Would def consider coming back.
