"This place was really nice. There’s a great view that is only open to gas of the property. It is conveniently located near the volcanic park as well as tours for Tubing and swimming in the river. "Excelente lugar! Es un lugar familiar con un trato muy cercano y amable. La cabina muy bonita y cómoda, con una pequeña cocina. "This was our first night in Costa Rica. We picked to stay here to split the drive to la fortuna and to be able to stop at Rio Celeste. It’s close to Rio Celeste. The town itself seems abanded. The owner of this property is very sweet. The area is loud, close to the road and constantly hearing traffic. The cabin type room has a large portable fan which was great. Shower works well. Good stay for 1 night. "

"This is a very unique house in a very quiet and peaceful location. We only visited for 1 night so we did not get to enjoy it as much as we could have. Small miscommunication with our booking but as we went on an evening tour, things were straightened out and all was well by the time we returned. This would be a very fun place for a group of friends as there was a big field to play in, tons of beds, and a big covered communal area to play games. "The road was a little challenging but once we drove it once and got to the property it was all worth it. The host Jorge was awesome. He went out of his was to make our stay wonderful and gave is some great recommendations. We enjoy our hike, pool with a slide and hot tub on the property. And they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. What a treat after a long day of travel and exploring CR. We would definitely stay here again."

"We loved our stay at casa Rio Familia. The house was equipped with more than we needed. Great snacks and wine and beer plus sodas. The property is quiet and private yet close to everything. Many amazing birds and the gardens in the front are gorgeous. Definitely stay more than one night. Johnny the guide Rick and Ashley recommended was great and reasonably priced."

"The hotel owners are exceptional human beings, Yves and Siri are caring and down to earth. The chef Yves cooked some extraordinary meals for us using all organic and natural herbs. "A beautiful setting, with some short trails that we explored during out stay. We saw two sloths up in the trees - one was literally right outside the house and came to the same spot twice. "Cute home and 5star clean**. The owner was great, we had to call because we were lost and he stayed on the phone and guided every step of the way, thank you!!!! We did not have to leave this property to see sloths, monkeys, toucans, etc. The view was amazing, could have been better had it not rained the whole time we visited. No tour buses. Close to hanging bridges, waterfalls, wildlife. Close enough to town for shopping and local restaurants. Just a pass through for tourists so no crowds."
