I am going to be requesting a full refund for this booking. When I arrived, I was greeted by a dishevelled man wearing a stain-covered shirt. He then proceeded to tell me the front gate does not lock at night and anyone could just walk in. I then had to wait for this person’s “mother” to come check me in. At which point, she started to describe her personal health issues and she would have to go to the hospital the following morning and how she hadn't eat in days, etc...
Then I was handed a 7 inch long, 2 centimetre thick, block of wood, with two keys attached to it, one for my room and the safe inside. Which I had to carry around in my pocket all day, off property.
The room: the door is not properly secured. It loose and shaky, and only had the tiny lock in the doorknob, no dead bolt, and the latch lock did not work. Between this and the the fact that there was not lock on the outside gate.
Also, the ceiling fan in the room way very low hanging and loose, not safe at all and very noisy through the night. The shower head stream was high-pressure, with very thin jets. This caused pain and discomfort to my private areas. Before going to sleep. I had to push the room fridge against the door to properly secure it and feel safe. It is 2:37 am as I am writing this.
This entire process is the most uncomfortable and unprofessional experience have ever had at a hotel, anywhere, ever.
