„Our construction crew stayed at the house while working on a street project. They enjoyed the hot tub, board games and all the other stuff available. Plenty of hot water, towels and blankets! Enough room for everyone to have their own space.“

„We love this house on San Juan Island. This was our second time staying at the house and the kids are begging to go back. The house is comfortable and has a great table for family dinners, board games and puzzles. The beach and property are just fantastic. The lack of internet is a small ding in my mind though it is helpful to get the kids off screens. Jenny was very responsive and helpful when we had an issue. Strongly recommend for some quiet downtime.“

„This place is walking distance to hiking trails. I wish the shellfish farm was open, because you can see it from the house! Would have been great to get some fresh oysters! It’s driving distance to shops and the market, but that was the point of our trip - peace and quiet. “

„While the property is peaceful and quiet, just minutes away there are so many fun, interesting things to do. We’ve stayed on several of the San Juan Islands, but San Juan Island itself is much more slow paced than most. The house has a beautiful, tranquil view, and the bed is extremely comfortable (and I am picky). „All perfect - location directly at the sea - great hosts - enough space for parking - all facilities you need for a relaxed stay including dish washer and washing machine - but above all stands the emotion created by this location every second we looked outside the windows to the sea or sitting on the deck relaxing and listening to the sound of the sea“

„We enjoyed how close the property was to everything. We ended up walking most of the weekend. Only negative was that the upstairs was fairly loud so we could hear people walking above us during the night. Besides that no issues. “

„I came to the cottage (Jan. 2025) with my little dog for some me time! It was everything the pictures showed, had time to go to a few local view points that were amazing but the view from the cottage was just what I hoped for so serene and beautiful. „Clean, comfortable, and cozy retreat! The staff were so friendly and professional. The bathroom and kitchen are well stocked. There is an on site coffee shop and mini store for any snacks, refreshments, or toiletries you may have forgotten to bring. They also sell a s’mores kit complete with a roasting stick for the waterfront campfire. We are so pleased with our stay and look forward to many more stays here in the future!“

„Alle Fähren waren komplett ausgebucht. Unbedingt reservieren! Als Fußgänger kann man aber immer mit. Also Auto dagelassen in Anscortes. Völlig problemlos weil das Hotel einen kostenlosen Shuttleservice hat. Super!“

"Das Hotel hat eine super Roof-Top Bar. Der Ort Anacortes bietet viele Möglichkeiten zum Essengehen und Frühstücken. Das Hotelpersonal an der Rezeption war super unfreundlich. Wir hatten in der Tat in den USA noch keinen unfreundlichen Mitarbeiter an einer Hotelrezepion erlebt. Da muss das Management etwas machen - wir gehen deswegen auf jeden Fall nicht mehr in das Majestic Inn. Das Hotel ist außerdem ein „PET friendly Hotel“ was super unangenehm war. Die diversen Hunde in den umliegenden Zimmern hatten unentwegt gebellt. Von Entspannung keine Rede."
