Booked a 2 queen bed room through Expedia, as I was travelling with my child. Get to the property and check in. The woman at the front desk was AMAZING!! Got our room key and went up to the room to unpack. Walked into a room that had 1 king bed. Went back down to the woman at the desk and told her what happened. The hotel had absolutely no other room to put us in. Apparently when I booked the room, the boss of the hotel had changed my reservation on his end. Was offered a cot and took that. The next morning we were offered a room with 2 queen beds. That was from the same woman that had been so helpful throughout. Declined, as it was a handicap accessible room. Save that room for someone that needs it. Asked about getting some sort of a refund for the difference in price and the huge inconvenience. The boss, the one that changed my reservation for no good reason, said they couldn't do a refund because I booked through Expedia. Ended up spending 4 nights on a cot with no compensation. Breakfast was the exact same thing all 4 mornings we were there. The hotel appears very old and run down. Honestly, if it hadn't been for the amazing counter staff, all 4 women that I dealt with, I would have packed up my belongings and left. Then I would have gotten a refund through Expedia. Absolutely would not recommend this hotel for the sheer fact that the manager was so unwilling to right his own wrongdoings. There's more to add, but not enough space to write it.
