"Disappointing Stay at AP Maria Nova Lounge" I'm writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent stay at the AP Maria Nova Lounge in Tavira. The service I received fell far below expectations, especially considering the price point. Our experience began poorly when we were asked to carry our own snacks from the restaurant to the pool, despite requesting poolside service. The 8-course New Year's Eve dinner was a complete disaster. Not a single dish was served at the correct temperature, and the wine pairing was subpar. When we inquired about a digestif, we were initially told it would be an extra charge, only to be denied the option altogether. However, I was able to purchase a cognac at the snack bar. The hotel itself appears outdated, and the service reflects this. The minibar was empty upon arrival, and the welcome drink was handed to us at the check-out desk, forcing us to carry it and our luggage up to our room. Overall, my stay at the AP Maria Nova Lounge was a major letdown. The poor service, subpar food, and outdated facilities do not justify the high prices. I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel."

"Nous y avons séjourné en famille pour des vacances dans la région. L'hôtel est bien situé, au centre de plusieurs magnifiques plages, et à 10 minutes du centre ville, très charmant d'ailleurs avec ses nombreux excellents restaurants. La déco de l'hôtel est moderne et le restaurant magnifique. Le personnel est très agréable, à quelques exceptions près, notamment au restaurant, dommage! La salle de gym est minuscule et il faut toujours réserver, ce qui n'est pas très pratique. La nourriture est excellente, et le choix de cocktails et de boissons largement suffisant."

"Das Hotel liegt zentral in Tavira - direkt gegenüber legen die Fähren zur Insel ab. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und genügend Platz für Kleidung. Sehr gute Dusche. Betten sind bequem. Frühstück hervorragend. Alles da was man braucht. Der Service ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Und danke für den Leihen des Sonnenschirms."
