„For anyone who is looking for some solitude on the ADK, I would highly recommend Baker Cabin. The hosts were extremely pleasant and helped to make sure our stay was everything we wanted. It is in the perfect location; a hop and a skip away from Lake Placid and the mountains. After a long hike, you can unwind and relax in the hot tub and I personally dont think it could get any better. “

We could walk in to town from where we were if we wanted to. The only suggestions I would make would be to have something to hold items in the hallway shower, more seating in the living room, and instructions on how to use the fireplace. “

„We came to Saranac Lake to check out the Adirondacks. It is a beautiful area. The Cabin is great for kicking back and soaking in the surroundings. We brought a boat with fishing in mind. Not such a good idea. Oh! the cabin advertisement indicated that it was "Blue" . Well, that's only half true. Like I said, we brought a boat so we could leave from the Cabin and fish. But, if one arrives at the cabin by water, it is brown, not blue. It rains on us for 3 days, but we still hadfun.“

„This property was pretty much as described, and view was nice. It IS up 2 flights of very narrow stairs, not regulation size so had to tread carefully but otherwise fine. PROs: VERY convenient location, walking distance to hockey arena, downtown, restaurants and the walking path around the lake.
