It's Fall Foliage Season! Time for an upstate NY trip where you'll take in the fresh mountain air and see the incredible colorful fall foliage!

This Cozy Saugerties retreat is ideal for a family or couples’ escape. A charming 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom, A-Frame home sits on a secluded, wooded, 1-acre lot with wonderful views of the Catskills Mountains.

Boasting a massive 24’ x 16’ outdoor deck, you can enjoy your morning coffee or take in some nighttime star gazing. This rustic home also provides a fully equipped kitchen stocked with cookware, flatware, utensils & spices! Plus amenities such as Free Wi-Fi, 3 SmartTVs and an outdoor gas BBQ grill as well as a Propane Fire Pit…. All making this, the place to be for your next retreat year round. (AC & Heat)

Located less than a quarter-mile from Opus40, this amazing Stone Sculpture Park hosts several art and musical events throughout the year and is the perfect place for an afternoon excursion.
A short drive into the Town of Saugerties, gives you a wide variety of places to shop and explore. There are many new Cafes and restaurants where you can grab a bite.
You’re also just a 10 minute drive to Woodstock too!

As a friendly reminder…. You’re gonna be in the country. There are critters. That's part of the beauty of why you're visiting right? So, if you're going to roll around in the leaves or grass… walking in the woods and being out in the yard, then I highly recommend you take off your clothes put them in the dryer and run for 20 minutes, and then do the Hudson Valley / Saugerties foreplay, check each other all over !

Driving through the Catskills and taking in the incredible mountain scenery can be breathtaking. Whether you’re stopping at a local farm stand, hiking through the woods or taking long walks, returning home for snacks or cocktails is your reward.
Relaxing and enjoying some peace and quiet on the deck as the sun sets over the mountains will certainly put you in an “A-Frame of Mind”

Saugerties retreat
The house was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The host thought of everything. Perfect spot close to towns of Saugerties and Woodstock and about a half hour away from amazing Hudson. Opus 40 is grand and a short walk away.

We had a great, quiet getaway. Thanks to Nick for being so attentive & resourceful. The cabin is beautiful, clean and even though it was only 2 of us it didn't feel too big. It's perfectly located away from all but close enough to anything you might need like shops, dinning, trails or if you just want to stay in, the house is fully stocked with anything you need for cooking (you provide the groceries of course lol) and has many things to keep you entertained such as board games, TV's, a grill and plenty of outdoor green space for throwing a ball around or having a picnic. I personally don't do bugs so I wasn't out there much. I'm a city girl trying new (to me) things. I would definitely recommend staying here...looking forward to my next getaway!

Gladly and strongly I recommend this rental
Pictures can fool anyone but as my son and I entered this property on our first day, he raised his hand with a genuine smile of joy, uttering that in renting this house, I made a very good choice. He was visiting me from Germany for his birthday, and I wanted to spend some days away from NYC, in quiet, conversation, and cooking. Being there for five days provided for us a wonderful framework to spend time together, and the house is as inviting as the pictures suggest. Our only criticism is a constructive one: such a wonderful place should not be without some writing utensils, and a couple of note pads or paper. Otherwise, the amenities, the attention to detail for comfort, and the surrounding tranquility truly contributed to a satisfying stay. Thank you, Nick!

Perfect Place to Relax After a Day of Hiking
The house is secluded and peaceful with a huge deck for a cool breeze with morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The house was spotless and well equipped with anything you could possibly need. Restaurants, grocery, and Katterskill Falls for hiking all within a 15-20 minute drive. Our host, Nick, was very attentive making sure everything was as we expected ( and it was). Would stay here again if the opportunity arises. I highly recommend this property for your vacation getaway.

Wonderful cabin in the woods
Close to the mountains for skiing, miles and miles of hiking and x-country skiing trails, less than 10 minutes from Levon Helms studio for amazing music and eclectic adventures in Woodstock. Owner was spot on and friendly with communication, home was clean and welcoming. Would definitely stay again when in the area!

Can’t wait to return!
I wish I was still there as I write these accolades for both the house and for Nick! The pictures do not do justice. The house captured the rustic feel that I wanted with the comfort of modern amenities. It was perfect. The grounds were expansive enough to provide privacy- and safety. The location was perfect- 15 minutes away from Woodstock, which allowed the feel of your own private hideaway and the convenience of being close to the center (and other attractions, as well). Nick was a gracious host- both before our arrival and during our stay. He was always accessible, and essential. During a storm there was a widespread power outage. Nick contacted us and remained in constant contact with the electric company to provide us with updates. (It did not last long and provided an unneeded excuse to stay inside the cozy cabin with the rain outside.) Nick most definitely contributed to the reason we are already talking about coming back in the Fall!

Away from it all while being nearby to everything
Our stay here was so quiet and peaceful; it felt like we were miles from civilization. Yet it’s nearby to everything with a short drive. Host is super responsive and very thoughtful; a lot of care went into setting up the cabin for the people staying there. Wifi was strong the whole stay. Highly recommend!!!!

A lovely, quiet getaway!
My eldest sister and I went to visit our sister who lives in Red Hook. This was the PERFECT location on so many levels. The home was clean, well stocked with every amenity we could think of, and plenty of room for the two of us. In addition to the essentials, there were fun additions like board games, binoculars for critter watching, and two beautiful decks to relax on. Nick couldn't have been a better host! Completely communicative, accommodating, and friendly, he made sure we were taken care of on every level. We will be back!

Just what we wanted
Just what we were looking for. Wanted to getaway from the city and enjoy some outdoors and this was perfect. Host was very polite and seemed to actually care about wanting to provide us with what we needed to enjoy ourselves. Contact was always quick and informative. During our stay we had no reason to get into contact because we had everything we needed, however I'm confident the host would have been helpful if anything questions or concerns happened during out stay.
