„We had a lovely time at this quaint property. Everything was just as described, and the little touches made a big difference—extra blankets, snacks, and thoughtful details that really made us feel at home. It’s clear the host put care into making the space cozy and welcoming. The Easter/Spring decorations and candies were a nice touch! We’d absolutely stay here again! So happy to have found such a a clean, safe, comfortable place for us to stay while visiting Gettysburg!“

„We stayed here while in town for a wedding. We had 13 adults and one child. This is such a neat old house with so many cool features. We had a fun time exploring the house and admiring the unique features like the Jefferson doors to the porches, the old coal dump, and all the super cool antiques in the home. „The check in alone should have been a red flag, it was an outdoor service window. The room itself was awful. It was small and cramped and freezing cold. „We came to visit Gettysburg and Amish Country and were excited to learn that while we had spent much time learning about the Civil War, Lee had actually come to visit the very house we stayed at and is detailed in a book located at the property called “A River to Cross”.
