„My partner and I hoped for a peaceful getaway to hike and chose this place. As soon as we drove in, it seemed like nothing we’d quite seen. It’s walled like a park with an expansive front yard area, but it’s private. There are really cute old buildings. It was like we had the place to ourselves. „Property was very nice and accommodating for what we needed. Close to shopping and several restaurants. Rooms were large and equipped for cooking. Liked having the living quarters and bedroom separated. I would recommend this property and will stay again when in the area! “

„We were hit with a snowstorm the day we were to arrive. Our crew all lives within a few hours but roads got pretty bad pretty quickly and we all arrived much later than expected, and even with 4 wheel drive none of us were able to get our cars up the driveway. The owners were kind enough to shuttle us (all 13 of us!) and our belongings up to the house in their big beast of a truck as we all arrived throughout the evening. Very much appreciated! „This cabin was off the beaten path and nestled in the woods. Very nice cabin with all the amenities you could ask for. Definitely needed a 4x4 vehicle crossing the stream. It was still full of ice and snow from the recent storm. Will stay again when in the area. “

„This was a wonderful place for our family of five to stay! The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, and the kitchen was well stocked, so we could cook a large breakfast for all of us. The neighborhood was quiet, and it was a nice place for us to walk our dogs. I would highly recommend it, and we plan to stay there again when we’re back in Louisville. “

„We had a wonderful family Christmas in January with 8 adults and 3 little ones. Loved the open floor plan and all of the glass overlooking the waterfalls and woods. Electric fireplace is inviting and even puts out heat! Our hosts generously left the Christmas tree and decorations up for our family. Our crew loved the hot tub (quite large), the oven that goes to 550 (for pizza), the large bowls and utensils for cooking, and the beautiful scenery for walks, play, and photos. “
