Ascend to the first floor via a steep staircase (not recommended for people with limited mobility). At the top is the master bedroom which can be closed off by means of bifold doors or left open plan. Down the corridor is the large bathroom which offers a large walk-in shower and a deep roll top bath for soaking away those aches and pains from a busy day of fun. Off the landing a small corridor leads to the second bedroom which houses a double bed and a bunk bed.

The main lure of this location is its accessibility to some of the most stunning parts of the planet with Scafell Pike (England’s highest peak), Wast water (England’s deepest lake), the scrambles and climbing around Wasdale or a walk through the woods in Nether Wasdale. For the less energetic among you there is Whitehaven a short drive up the road which offers a mix of independent shops, pubs and restaurants all set around the working harbour.
