Bright Unit in a Triplex in the Heart of Fremont

This unit offers everything you need for a comfortable stay in the heart of Fremont. The spacious living room features a comfortable couch and large windows that provide a pleasant view of the well-maintained garden outside. For entertainment, you’ll find a 65" TV with Roku for relaxing after a day of exploring the neighborhood. The fully equipped kitchen, with a gas stove, makes it easy to cook meals during your stay. The bathroom is designed with heated floors, soft towels, and a rain shower to help you unwind. Each room is equipped with a minisplit AC and heating unit, ensuring a comfortable environment

Getting In: Your door code is the last four digits of your phone number. Just enter those to unlock the door! If you run into any issues, don’t worry—we have a backup key on the premises. Just remember to replace it after use to avoid any lockout costs.

Parking
Need parking? It’s available for $15 per day or $60 per week. Just let us know if you’d like to reserve a spot! Please park in the middle spot of the parking pad, and feel free to use street parking as well.

Please Remove Your Shoes
We kindly ask that you take your shoes off when you enter. This helps keep our carpets and rugs clean—especially in the winter!

Garbage Separation
In Seattle, we separate our waste into recycling, compost, and garbage. The silver can in the kitchen has two sections: the larger one is for recyclables, and the smaller one is for trash. For composting, brown paper grocery bags work great!

Our garbage bins are outside, and garbage collection is every Thursday. If you notice them looking a bit messy during your stay, we’d appreciate your help in lining them up!

You’re welcome to take out the garbage upon departure, but no pressure if you’re in a hurry. Just keep in mind that if it’s not separated, we’ll have to charge a fee.

Package Deliveries
Feel free to have packages delivered! They might end up on the front porch, but don’t worry—the other tenants know to leave them alone. If packages arrive during your stay, please leave them on the porch or move them to the laundry room for safekeeping.

USPS Mail
Please do not use our address for USPS mail. We can’t guarantee it will reach you, and it can get a bit tricky trying to track it down.

Food & Kitchen Use
You’re welcome to use our spices, coffee, tea, and pantry items. Just remember to clean out the fridge before you leave!

For instructions on how to operate the TV, please check the guidebook!

Smoking
Smoking is not allowed inside the house. If you choose to smoke outside, please be mindful of other guests and ensure that all cigarette butts are disposed of properly. Please don’t toss them into the fire pit.

No Parties & Visitor Policy
We love having friends over! Just please don’t throw any parties. If you’d like to invite friends for the day (without staying overnight), that’s totally fine—just give us a quick heads up if you plan on having more than four guests.

Laundry
Your first load of laundry is included- Yay! After that is is $4.00 a load.

Eating Areas
While we love that you’re enjoying your meals, please be careful to avoid spills on the couch. There’s a lovely dining table that’s perfect for eating, and we ask that food stays out of the bedrooms. If there are any stains on the bedding or carpets, we may need to charge for replacements.

Pets
We love furry friends! We charge a $150 per pet cleaning fee and daily fee, which covers basic cleaning but not any damage to furniture. Please be sure to list these pets in the Adult & Pet count when making a reservation. They incur extra fees.

Please keep your pets off the couch and carpets and use the dog bed provided. The living room rug is special to us, so let’s keep it looking great!

If your animal is prone to scratching, please let us know so we can find a solution together. Dog scratches may incur a $500 fine, so please take before-and-after photos of the door to avoid any misunderstandings. Additional cleaning fees apply for accidents, but we’ve got Nature’s Miracle on hand just in case!

And please, don’t let your dog in or out unsupervised.

Great Stay in Fremont
We stayed for a business/vacation with the family, and it was exactly what we needed - The layout was a bit odd, but not a major issue for us as we only needed the main bedroom. The Bathroom off the master is a gem, and really a great bonus. Excellent restaurants, coffee shops etc. easily walkable. Marie was responsive and helpful when we needed something.

The property was clean and accommodating. The downstairs master bedroom was very nice with a luxury bathroom. The light switches were a little confusing and could be label - easily corrected. Living room large and comfortable.

Beautifully updated, wonderful location
Unit is very updated in every way, from appliances, flooring, carpets, electronics, AMAZING bathrooms, (heated floors, rain showers, fancy bidet). Very comfortable stay. Great location to walk to tons of restaurants, bars and shops. Yes, you can hear neighbors walking above but overall a really wonderful place to stay.

Overall a great space with a few shortcomings
I would like to start by saying that this is a very comfortable house that is well furnished and is in a fantastic location. Fremont is my favorite Seattle neighborhood, and we were able to walk to all of the bars, restaurants and shops we wanted to visit for a weekend getaway. The house is well furnished with modern amenities, and everything you’d need for a long or short stay. The host is very friendly and communicative. Overall we had a very nice stay, but there are a few things that I wish I’d known that you can’t tell from the listing. I didn’t realize that this is a duplex property and you can hear EVERYTHING happening on the other side of the walls. The adjoining unit has space that is located above the kitchen/living room of the rental property. Their stairs are VERY creaky and loud so there was constant noise of people going up and down stairs as well as the constant stomping of feet above. We didn’t know the layout of the house and for the first few minutes we actually thought there was someone else in the rental property. My wife and I were trying to get a weekend away from our apartment, but the noise here was actually louder than where we live. The noise did stop at night, and the neighbors were not doing anything rude or obnoxious, you can just hear them all day long. The set of stairs leading down to the master bedroom/ large bathroom area has an incredibly low ceiling. My wife and I are both 6 feet tall, but I think you would need to be under 5 feet to not hit your head. I have some back and knee problems and I use stairs all the time with no issues, but squatting and ducking under the ceiling for each trip to the bedroom was not easy. The location is pet friendly. According to the host the previous guest was a longer term stay with a dog. My wife and I are not pet owners, and the amount of pet hair started to get a little uncomfortable after a couple of days. It was all hidden in the lighter colored carpet so it wasn’t immediately noticeable until we started to see it on our socks and other clothes. The host indicated this was not normal, and they tried to address hair before our stay, but it still needed a pretty deep vacuuming. Also, keep an eye on the refrigerator. When we checked in the circuit breaker had turned off and items in the freezer had all melted. The host made it sound like this was a common problem so monitor the fridge if you plan on keeping food during your stay.
