THE SPACE
Garden: The garden serves as the gateway to the residence, offering a tranquil space where you can sit and relax at the table and chairs provided.

Living Room: The living room features a comfortable sofa, a TV, and large windows that flood the space with natural light.

Kitchen with Eating Space: The kitchen exudes modernity, coffee bar with a Nespresso machine, French Press, tea, sugar, and cream enhancing its contemporary ambiance. It comes fully equipped with all essential utensils and features a fridge, stove, dishwasher, and microwave. This ensures that every culinary need is met with ease .

Bedroom: Queen size bed, a practical workspace located in front of a window with natural light, closet, Luggage racks,Tv.

Bathroom Full: Complete with a bathtub, shower, and complimentary shampoo, hair dryers, conditioner, and soap. Soft towels are also provided for your comfort.

Surrounded by charming cottages and mansions, the area is perfect for leisurely walks or runs. Nearby, Lake Washington awaits, with a beautiful beach and park featuring amenities like tennis courts, play equipment, and stunning views of the Cascades. The neighborhood is dotted with boutiques, family-friendly shops, and upscale eateries, including renowned sushi spot Nishino. Just west, the intersection with Lake Washington Boulevard leads to more dining and shopping options, including the adjacent Madison Valley neighborhood.

GUEST ACCESS
Guests will enjoy exclusive access to the entire downstairs apartment, including the garden, providing a private retreat during their stay. Upon booking confirmation, a secure door code will be conveniently sent via email, akin to accessing a personalized Guest Book, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free arrival experience.

⚠︎ Please note that guests should be prepared to use the stairs regularly. Also, this unit shares a laundry room with the upstairs unit.

GETTING AROUND
We're located near public transportation, with several bus stops within walking distance to downtown Seattle, Fremont, South Lake Union, or the University District for the University of Washington.
You can also drive into downtown Seattle (and the University District) in about 15 minutes, and Uber/Lyft are widely available.

PARKING
Parking is available in the designated one-car parking spot behind the house. Street parking is also available in front of the house on Madison Street.

OTHER FEES MAY APPLY:

2. Exceeding occupancy stated in the rules, above, will incur a $50 charge per person, per night.
3. The property being used as instructed has never exceeded 3 hours of housekeeping. If the housekeepers spend more than 3 hours at the property after your stay, you will be responsible for an additional cleaning fee at $100/ hour.

Very comfortable space for two people and the location worked very well for us. We expect to book this place again when we head back to Seattle.

Cozy and Comfy stay on Madison Street Seattle
This space was just the right size for two people. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The Bed was great. The shower was lovely with three different options for water flow. All amenities included. Nice to have a full-size washer and dryer with detergent and dryer sheets supplied. There are many options for food and drinks within walking distance. The neighborhood is fairly quiet and filled with beautiful homes and interesting architecture. The proximity to the Arboretum and Japanese Garden is a plus. The only real drawback to this place is if you have difficulty navigating stairs, it is not for you as there are a number of stairs and stone steps you must traverse to go down to the door. We don't have that issue, so it was not a problem for us. The only seating in the living area is a small loveseat which was very comfortable, but perhaps another comfortable chair would be welcome if the host could find a way to fit it in. The host is excellent at communicating and the guidebook, and house rules were very clear and useful. I would stay here again.

Lovely accommodation.Lovely location. Will definitely look to stay here again. Annoying note signs telling us no this no that. Disconnect between being friendly and welcoming and corporate. Difficult to find the address/ entry on alley, many stairs steep and uneven stairs down to entry door. Fine when no luggage. Not a problem for us but would have been really problematic if we had any mobility or sight issues.

Great location, great stay
This rental had everything we needed, including coffee and creamers and pots/pans/cookie sheets (the cookie sheet was great for cooking the delicious frozen chocolate croissants we bought down the street at Belle Epicurean Bakery!) Very clean, and a great location. The only thing I would add is that you will want your Lyft driver to drop you off in the back alley--I got dropped off at the address given to me, which is the front of the house, with no way to access the house. I had to walk to the next intersection, turn right, turn right again down the first lane, and access through the back way. The website does not give this information. It looks like perhaps this Spring front steps will be built. We were quite happy here and would return again for sure.

The location was great, the unit itself was great. Modern, updated, with everything you need for your stay. The 4-star rating for accuracy is due to the fact that the photo online of the front stairs access isn’t current. The stairs are no longer there, it’s just a dirt hillside, which would have been nice to know when I was trying to access the property the first night in the dark. Ended up parking around back (which is a little tight to navigate into, but parking space itself was fine) and entering that way. The rough stone stairs down the side of the house to the unit are tricky and fortunately it was dry the entire time I was there, otherwise, it would make that path difficult. Also, keep in mind the owners live upstairs, which detracts a bit from the privacy, to include the “private” courtyard where they showed up unannounced the first morning with a contractor and proceeded to carry on a twenty minute conversation. A simple knock on the door prior or some advanced warning would have been appropriate. However, I understand the need to access for improvements, and the property manager was very responsive with this issue and all other matters. I’m still giving it 5-stars Overall because everything else about the property delivers; location, decor, amenities…and the bed is very comfortable.

Great location! Nice and quiet and stays cool in summers!
I was Nervous because it didn’t have Airconditioning. The condo is built into the hillside so it stayed nice and cool even though it was hot outside. Everything looks newly remodeled and clean. Love the access to restaurants and shops in Madison park. Very safe neighborhood! Very bougie area. Management team was quick to respond to questions! This was my second stay here. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

We would stay here again!
Lovely rooms and incredibly generously well stocked. The sheets are really nice whatever brand they are!! We always try to stay somewhere with a washer and dryer and appreciated the availability. If stairs are a problem access would be difficult, rent somewhere else. Pretty neighborhood for walking. Several coffee shops, a couple mini marts, some very good restaurants within easy walking distance in addition to the Arboretum, Japanese Gardens, swimming at the Lake in Madison Park and churches. There is one parking spot off street and there was always on street parking available too. Thank you for being our nest for the week!

Very nice clean and well appointed property. Adjacent Arboretum was fantastic to explore for outdoor lovers. Great bus service to downtown. There are several stairs to negotiate and carry luggage to enter the unit from either the front or back. Fine for us but would be a challenge for those with restricted mobility. We like this place and this part of the Seattle area.

Imagine a hobbit hollow with modern amenities - safe, sound, secure tucked away into the hill side. Large windows light the cozy living and bed rooms while the kitchen and bath delight with current technologies. Near enough to the city to see the sights and escape back to the quiet personal space near coffee shops and the Japanese gardens. Perfect for couples or 2 friends who don't mind sharing space.

Perfect for two
Nicely updated temperature controlled unit in a perfect location. The bed was comfortable, there were snacks provided and a nespresso machine. There are restaurants and coffeehouses within walking distance and we never had a problem getting a lyft to go sightseeing. There are a lot of stairs up to the unit, but that is pretty normal for Seattle! The only hiccup we had was the check in information was sent via email from hello@ seattlesbeststay and that was buried in my spam folder. So look for that email if you rent. We will stay here again!
