„Die Unterkunft liegt verkehrsgünstig (Auto, Zug, Bus) im Lake District und ist daher ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt, die Gegend zu erkunden. Obwohl Windermere für einen kleinen Ort recht verkehrsreich ist (Durchgangsort zum sehr von Touristen überlaufenen Bowness), liegt die Unterkunft in einer sehr ruhigen Seitenstraße auf einem malerischen Grundstück. Der Besitzer ist sehr lieb, freundlich und hilfsbereit, auch wenn wir ihn nicht persönlich kennengelernt haben. Der einzige Nachteil ist der nicht vorhandene Parkplatz für das Cottage, aber paar Meter weiter sind Parkplatzmöglichkeiten. Grassington selbst ist ein schönes kleines Dorf. The next property was occupied by seven lads on a stag weekend who all came in there cars , therefore nowhere to park for our two cars .the weekend was also marred by the taxi turning up at the lads accommodation with a young lady in what can only be described as as nurses outfit and heels ...
