„This was everything I could have hoped. I stayed with my new puppy, and it was HEAVEN! Secluded, clean, safe, lake, hammock, porch swing......Heaven! The host was responsive to all my questions. Prior reviews mention it's great for groups, but, if you could use some quiet, private downtime, this is also perfect. As an aside, I have verizon for my cell phone and I could text without problem. If you NEED to talk on the phone, it's also possible but more spotty. Internet was very fast.“

„The Overlook Cabin was the perfect getaway for my wife and I's 10 year anniversary! The view and the cabin were perfect! The cabin had everything we needed! The host was very friendly and communication was excellent! We will definitely be booking this cabin again in the future!“

From morning coffee on the deck overlooking the river, to dips in the hot tub, to evening snuggles in front of the fire while watching movies, this home allowed us to enjoy an absolutely amazing weekend. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back.“

„We had a peaceful and quiet visit to Proctor’s Haven and used it as our base to visit the region. What an amazing place. So quiet and peaceful. The pond, the decks, the nice big comfortable living room with the well stocked kitchen were all perfect. Even the WiFi was surprisingly fast. The perfect mountain retreat. „It is a super nice place to get away to when you’re tired of the hustle and bustle and want peace and quiet. Beautiful view. Very responsive and communicative host. They literally thought of everything with this place. Bring yourselves and food. Hosts took care of any other need. I wish that we could have paddle boarded and fished, but lily pads made that impossible. It is a very serene place to be. Close to many places to hike. We would give it another try.“

„This was the perfect solution for us. Our son graduated from UTC Saturday morning and then we helped him move out of his apartment that was located literally across the street. Ample space and amenities for the short time we actually spent in the room. The basement room was a bit chilly, but we prefer that when we sleep so it wasn’t a huge deal for us. A previous review complained about the water not getting hot, but we found that it just took a while to heat up. Both the shower and sink knobs ...
