Setting
Secluded in a forest including old Madrone, Fir, Cedar, Cypress trees, and surrounded by new landscaping, the teahouse and gardens were designed to evoke the spirit of tea house traditions practiced across time and cultures. Tea rituals promote reflection, refreshment, contentment, connection, healing, harmony, and peace.
The architectural feature of the clerestory, along with the glass walls, doors, and windows on all sides, create a light and airy feel that brings the outside inside. The forest views, combined with the clean lines and minimalist aesthetic, make the teahouse retreat an ideal place for you to commune with nature, self, and others.
Cooking is a joy in the well-appointed kitchen with new appliances. With the open floor plan, modular furniture arrangements, and enclosed, glass- walled porch, , the Teahouse can be configured to suit a variety of purposes such as individual retreat, couples adventure, or social gathering.
The teahouse has no beach access, but is just a 3-minute drive to Panorama Vista Park-where you can walk along the Straits of Juan de Fuca. It is also minutes away from the Discovery Bike trail and Miller Park. Because of its peaceful setting, it is also a perfect place to remain onsite and lose yourself in a podcast, book, music, or complete that work, art, or writing project. Enjoy dining alfresco on the spacious patio, where you might see one of our resident deer or eagles.
The teahouse and gardens on East Sequim Bay awaits you.
