„Cute house with a lot of character. Sat on the front porch and watched everybody go to the ice cream shop. Perfect place to be to get to all of the attractions. The Tavern in town is a great place to eat with a nice atmosphere. House was clean and organized. The only thing I could recommend would be that they have a Keurig in the kitchen“

„It was such a treat to stay in this unique old house. The basement is built right into the rock hill! The house is comfortable and convenient even though it has seen so many years. The hosts did a great job decorating and taking care of it. We would love to come back on a warmer weekend and enjoy the yard. “

From visiting Harpers Ferry, playing the slots at Charles Town Casino, to taking the self-guided tour of Antietam National Battlefield Park, hiking the Maryland Heights Trail via Harpers Ferry, and walking the C&O Canal tow path. To eating at Captain Benders and getting sandwiches and snacks at Battleview Market. And simply enjoying the fire pit. Thank you for the great experiences“

„The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We cooked all of our meals there and were very pleased with the size of the kitchen and found it to be well stocked with everything we needed. The cabin was very comfortable, inside and out. Lots of outdoor space to relax and enjoy a campfire, fish, and use the spacious hot tub. Would stay again!“

„The cabin was nice, in a quiet neighborhood, with a beautiful view. The only downside was that the towns nearby were sleepers, with nothing to do and terrible restaurants, our biggest entertainment was going to the Farm Store to see baby chickens. The Inn in Berkeley was higher priced,and the food was awful. We ended up at the Food Lion, getting groceries and cooking our own meals. “

„Really nice house that was accurate to listing. Bathroom in particular was nicely furnished with a great shower room. Great view from the indoor deck area. Nice outdoor space with well-done landscaping and a fire pit. The property owner was also highly flexible with needs for my pet. I would recommend this property and would stay there again.“

„The cabin, the property, the gardens were magical. It was quiet and very peaceful.Surreybrook gardens are a site to behold and their shop has so many wonderful things at reasonable prices.Home made scones were in the freezer when we got there and supplied specialty teas were enjoyed with them. „The cabin was perfect for a few days of writing and reflecting! Everything was very clean and it was easy communicating with the owner. The house is not "secluded" as there are neighboring houses on two sides and if I hadn't brought an ax/saw to cut my own dry wood enjoying a fire wouldn't have been possible. But overall a lovely stay and I look forward to going again!“
